Tried to run in for a quick souvenir for my kids but grounds keeper told me that I can't park here and to go somewhere else. I tried to explain to him but he wouldn't let me speak. No wonder this place was empty and dead. Rude behavior and hostile attitudes, definitely not coming back here.

The moment we walked through the door two of the female employees stalked us and followed us around. Watching us and making comments about "smile your on camera".... Did not feel comfortable shopping there at all. We came back from vacation and purposely stop there but definitely will not be stopping or recommending. Stop on the way to Myrtle Beach and on the way back including going to the reptile lagoon. Had a great time until we went inside there. Will not return. Around 6pm Saturday March 26, 2022. There were two females and one male behind the counter.

Visited Myrtle Beach store Sunday March 26th, on the way home from Myrtle Beach. As soon as I walked through the door, sometime around 5:30pm. I seen a rack of postcards I didn't have, having went through SOTB earlier that week, I bought lots of other postcards already. I felt someone behind me, the taller woman behind the counter was standing at the closest spot to me behind the counter, watching me. The whole time through the store we were followed by the shorter woman. I've worked retail for nearly 15 years, so I know the short woman was calling us thieves by offering "excellent customer service", she wasn't just being helpful. Stood up at the counter and had a conversation with the guy behind the counter about where we were from, he was the only nice one working in the Myrtle Beach Store that afternoon. As we were paying the short loud-mouthed woman yelled "smile y'all on camera!", and laughed. We stopped at SOTB the Wednesday before, mainly for the Reptile Lagoon, but it was closed. Went into most of the stores that day, everyone was very friendly. But these two women seem to have a problem with people of a different color. I bought $3 worth of the 5 cent and 10 cent bumper stickers to give out to people, I'm thinking about just throwing them in the trash, as I don't want anyone I know to get the same treatment from those women if they decide to check out SOTB from seeing the bumper stickers. Those two women "working" at the Myrtle Beach Store on Saturday, March 26th at 6pm, as we were checking out are RASIST. I welcome anyone in management to contact me after watching the video recorded while we were there, I wouldn't mind having a talk with someone in charge about the incident.

i like this shop the best. The hats are always fun to try on and takes pictures in. Bought a shark in a jar a few years back and still have it. Prices aren't bad and even if you roll in late its still fun to take pictures outside!

I went on vacation to South Carolina and my experience was awful there was a hefty black woman following me and my family around the store treating us like thief's and I didn't appreciate feeling like a criminal when my last thought was to shop lift she then proceeded to converse with an associate on checkout and they looked at me at the beginning- middle- and end of the conversation she would lean on a shopping buggy and just stare me down if you thought I was stealing ma'am you could of just asked this was a few months ago and I still think about my awful experience and how I should I stuck up for myself this is it thanks for reading
