Calling to inquire about pharmacy service, finally got a person..a bored person who just said "yes?" or " no"...with long pauses before answering...sorry to interrupt her surfing

Each time I get the same cashier in the pharmacy. She never looks up at me as she asks the routine questions. Hands me by bag and change, and says nothing. The manager, Don is no better at customer service and will actually argue with the customers. This CVS in Hampton has been going down hill for several years.

Why did the pharmacy close at 8pm today? I had to go to the ER today and they called in medicine that I needed to start tonight. I went straight to CVS and arrived at about 8pm. The drive-thru was already closed at 8pm. When I went inside, the pharmacist said the system was down and they were closing....amazing this same pharmacist always has difficulties with his pharmacy. This has to stop with this same pharmacy. I needed my prescription tonight not tomorrow!

I was charged close to $70.00 for 2 prescriptions. I have medical insurance and I also have a prescription card. I gave it to the lady at the pharmacy just to be handed it back and for her to tell me that my cards are only for the doctor's office. I had to pay full price for a prescription that my insurance would have covered if she had taken the time to enter my information into the computer. I will no longer be using CVS pharmacy because of this. I'm switching to Carolina Pharmacy where they actually acknowledge my health insurance and prescription card.

I came in today to get a prescription that was sent in by my doctor. I waited in the drive thru line behind some other cars for several minutes hoping when I got to the window the prescription would be ready. They told me that they had no record of the prescription. So, I left to kill some time. But, I called my doctor’s office and they confirmed it had been sent. I returned a few minutes before 1:30 pm and was told by the clerk that they were closing for lunch @ 1:30 pm. I was not aware of their lunch policy and feel like I should have been served. When I expressed that, I was told everybody knows that and basically just shut down right in front of me. I have also had a few issues with prescription refills. I have received texts stating that a prescription is ready and got to pharmacy and it wasn’t ready. Where is the “Great” customer service these days?

The pharmacy has had problems for years, but now the clerk is refusing to check out customers, arguing with a hearing impaired customer, and refusing to help. Self check out should be an option, not a requirement, and rudeness to customers should never be allowed. So disappointing.

The pharmacist has no care for customers. Shorter man with a limp. Made me wait 20 plus minutes for him to “ok” my prescription while he talked to someone about his dogs. SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL. And then he looks at me like I have a problem.

I’ve been calling to speak to the store manager for over a week, it’s always he’s not here - unsure when he’ll be back. Went inside to ask for him myself last week, the young lady was very aggressive at my questioning if he was available which of course he wasn’t. Called today, phone rung for quite some time and the young lady whom wasn’t very friendly when I met her last week answered and claimed she couldn’t hear me and proceeded to hang up on me. For the life of me I can’t understand why they are still operable in this location. Other locations are way more organized, clean and professional than this one - Never again!!

The worst place to fill a prescription and certainly don't depend on them to have a medication that you take daily available each month. My mom routinely has to go without her medication for 2-3 plus days. You can call and ask them to fill it and they'll tell you they will have it filled. When you get there, you'll be told they do not have it in stock. It's a shame that CVS bought out just about every pharmacy in town and now you just about have to depend on this pharmacy. For sure don't call because you'll be on hold for a minimum of 20 mins! I NEVER write reviews but this CVS is worth avoiding if possible.

This place needs to be re-evaluated. Worst pharmacy ever. They never have your prescription ready. They will lie over the phone. Only to have waisted time going up there just to wait. The ones behind the pharmacy counter are rude, nasty, unfriendly and act like they hate to be there. If they would work as much as they would gossip the place would be ran smoothly.I’ve got the wrong prescription handed to me not once but twice. I don’t think they have a clue what they are doing. And to be careless and give you the wrong prescription without looking into what there giving you is wrong. Knowing that everybody side effects are different when it comes to different types of medication. This pharmacy has gotten slack. I wouldn’t recommend this pharmacy to anybody. They don’t care about the well-being of there customers. Everybody working just for the dollar. Once upon of time this was an awesome pharmacy. Now this place sucks big time. Get some better employees behind your counter

On the 27 I turned in a prescription and was told it be done that weekend. Almost 3 weeks later they still don't have it approved . But that's not the whole reason I'm mad. Every time you call cvs here it's at least 15 min on hold but this time it was 21 min before I got someone on the phone this time. By the end of the call it was 39:38. Really almost 40 min for a prescription and for the phone to be answered with "hello" in a rude tone is unacceptable.
