Giving a shout out to D’Andre who is our regular pool guy in Poplar Grove. He is a consistently hard worker who has kept our pool in great shape this summer. Not only is he an energetic worker, he is very pleasant and polite… deserving of some recognition!

I highly discourage anyone from using Sweetwater Pools in the Charleston, SC area. I hired them 10 months ago to fully service a commercial pool. The last 5 months I encoutered various concerns, which include, but are not limited to lack or transpareny, communication and accountability in addition to extremely poor service, resolution and a complete lack of professionalism and willing to take any accountability for their continued errors. On 2 occasions their technicians forgot to turn off the water when filling the pool and left. The first time was caught after one hour, the second time was discovered 20 hours later due to it happening on a Sunday, leading to thousands of gallons of water being wasted. As a resolution after much back and forth and lack of ownership of the company's error they said they would install a filler timer. It took them over 5 weeks for them to install this as I had to ask numerous times.

IMy townhomes contract with Sweetwater Pools to maintain the community pool. Our serviceman came this morning and I caught him to ask when the tiles were cleaned. He said he didn't know and when I pointed to the dark ring around the pool he said he had never seen it before. Seriously? A pool cleaner that doesn't notice the black ring? I called Sweetwater pools and left a message. I'm also contacting the homeowners association. We need a service that does its job.

Our HOA contracted with Sweetwater Pools to replaster the pool several years ago. Because he stated that if he was contracted to manage/maintain the pool, he would guarantee the installation for 10 years. The maintenance service left a lot to be desired the first 3 years. Repeative calls for service issues by the tech's. I will say that Matt was useally responsive at the beginning. Last June, the pool plaster failed in a small area on the bottom of the pool. About 1 square foot. Sweetwater Pools used a patch to repair the area. Matt told me that the permanent repairs would be made in the off-season due to the requirements of the pool needing to be drained. During the summer season after June, maintenance of the pool was very poor. Many HOA members complained to the pool tech while he was on-site and because the tech failed to perform, they began calling Matt. I was told about the problem so I also called Matt. Matt was to meet the Property Management Company, the Board President and me to view the poor condition of the pool. Matt never met with us. Finally, the Board President spoke with Matt and Matt told him he was canceling the contract because of too many complaints. He continued invoicing the HOA but performed no maintenance. Sweetwater Pools left our pool in very poor condition and refused to return.Don't be fooled by his promises.Michael Utsey

Former employee of this company, the owner Matt, is a horrible leader. His idea to leading a team, is telling and berating them for any mistake that they make,On top of the terrible management,Should you leave to find better leading with another company, and need to return at a later time to get your w2s, then your in for a bigger nightmare. they use this app called paycom, which stores everything online and they are uberheavy on privacy, to log into the app, you have to attach a number you have access to to verify the account just about anytime you want to use it, should you change the number that is associated with the app while you were working with the company, you can pretty much kiss your w2s, and you tax history goodbye. They do not have a contact number for a HR dept, which is critical is any attempt to regain access to the account to retrieve your tax information. They also do no have a way to contact they email, which means your have to call the office and if you do that the person at the desk usually has no idea what your talking as the turn around in this place is thru the roof
