It's absolutely the worst detail I've ever had. I saw an ad and thought I'd try them out. Just look at the photos...this was AFTER they were finished. They don't know that detailing means you pay attention to the details. They left trash, didnt wipe anything down, didnt get into the nooks of the car seats, the trim around the hatch was filty, the tire wells were dirty...what did they actually do other than surface clean.I could have gone to a local car wash and had a wash and vacuum. Worst $250 I've ever spent. Go to the South end and avoid this operation at all costs unless you want a shoddy job that's overpriced.

So if you're looking to make your car look beautiful A1 Auto Detailing is where you want to go. I have two stories to tell. First, I had Mike at A1 Auto Detailing apply the Llumar Ceramic Paint Protection Film and Ceramic Pro 9H to my new Genesis GV70 SUV. The results were fantastic and the surface feels like glass. Second, I had Mike do a traditional detailing of my 2014 Lexus ES 350. He detailed both the inside and outside and when I picked it up it looked like it came from the dealer's new car inventory. This was a car that spent a number of years in the cold western PA weather and Mike brought it back to life. Stellar service an workmanship at a competitive price. First place we called was booked out for a couple weeks. A1 got us in the next day and the car looks an smells brand spanking new. Everything spotless. Literally the razor thin space between fittings is free of any debris or gunk. Leather an dash shiny all fabric back to new. Completed ahead of schedule. Can't sing enough praise. This is the go to spot.

Don’t waste your time like I did. This island is too small to pull a bait and switch, yet that is precisely what Gary tried to pull. Got a quote over the phone and then didn’t honor the price once I had the car delivered.

I have used other auto detailers in the past on the island, but A1 did the best job of any, and for a reasonable cost. My wife's car is 5 years old, but the white pearl paint, looks like it did when we bought it new. And, the interior, as well as the engine compartment is beautiful! And, to top it off, they are just super people to work with. I would actually give them more than 5 stars if I could.

Today, my husband and I picked up my car from A1 Detailing in Hilton Head. I took a quick look while Cortez settled the bill. This was his Christmas present to me. After driving the car for a while, I started to notice things I didn't notice before. Like the fact that it was vacuumed inside and that was it!!! I recently had the A1 Signature Detail $225 on my Panamera done, and there overall the car looked okay on the exterior, they left wax in places that a true detailer should not have missed. The shampooing of the carpet left a lot to be desired. Very disappointed with the carpet & surface detailing. The carpet looks as though they wet it and got some of the surface dirt off, but when you open the car door in the sunlight the dirt really shows up. I purposely left a couple of soda residue spots on the interior of the dash area, and guess what, it was still there after the car was detailed. The black finish in the car looked exactly as I left it. I guess they did run a rag over it. One good note though, the car smelled great, which is very misleading. Think I'm making it up, here are a couple of photos.
