Run, do not buy here. You will wait months only to receive damaged furniture. All they seem to care about is getting your money. They do not update you on the status of your order unless you call them. Owner obviously has no clue as to how his business is being run. Ended up buying elsewhere and got in a week, better quality and not damaged.Interesting to see your reply. Amazing how quickly you responded to a bad review, but yet you never responded to two emails that were forwarded to you by Glenn, who was our salesman. Before even posting this review, we allowed you almost a month and a half to respond. When no response was forthcoming, we posted the review.We understood that due to the worldwide pandemic there were issues with obtaining items and deliveries. We waited almost 5 months. We were okay with that. However, what we were not okay with was when the first dresser was delivered damaged, and Vaughn Basset and Furniture Direct didn't want to even address that, we waited another month for the "replacement dresser". We were willing to accept the damaged first dresser for a concession of $300. No one wanted to let go of the almighty dollar. When the "replacement dresser" arrived at your premises, we were ASSURED by Glenn that the dresser was inspected upon receipt and prior to loading onto your truck to deliver it to us. When it arrived at our premises, there was an area of paint on the top that was not even painted, the backing was falling off and when the men took it out of the truck, a piece literally fell off. It was patently obvious it was NOT inspected prior to sending it out for delivery!! So, by all means, take your position of being right on top of everything. We will add that Glenn was always the professional and seemed to have his hands tied. All we will say is buyer beware.

I recently worked with Dennis and his team to help me complete a warranty replacement of my Breezesta Outdoor furniture. He was super accommodating and worked with the manufacturer to completely resolve and rectify the issue. The team there has always been very polite, knowledgeable and easy to work with. I give them a big thumbs up!

Tony helped me select a sleeper sofa that would accommodate both our pocket book and our living space. The delivery men were timely, personable and worked quickly and efficiently to set up our room to our specifications. Jennifer, who schedules deliveries, called promptly and graciously rescheduled our delivery, per our request, with no issues. Thanks to all!

Horrible customer service. Received wrong sofa after waiting 8 months. Never once called to update. We called numerous times only to be given multiple excuses then told fabric was on backorder. Got floor model. Insisted on switching that day only or we were out of luck. We are out of town and could not ask our guests staying in our condo to give up their time and move furniture out of the rooms and back to accommodate this. Was told I would be given 10 or 15% off. Of course received the 10% or $110 only after waiting 8 months for a floor model.

Truly professional staff all the way around! Was able to completely customize my own sofa exactly to my specifications. With COVID going on, I was told there may be some delays with manufacturing due to plant shut downs, but the staff did a great job of keeping me in the loop. Delivery was exactly when they said it would be and the drivers were very professional installing the new piece and cleaning up. Would recommend for any of your needs!

The entire process of furniture shopping at Furniture Direct was great. From the time we walked in the staff was very friendly and applied ZERO pressure. Glen helped us out and was very nice and helpful. Plus, he has some really funny stories.We decided to return a couple items because they didn't fit well in our small condo bedroom. The owner answered the phone was so nice to my wife and took the items back with no restock fees.We will never shop anywhere else!

I recently purchased a sofa and loveseat set from Furniture Direct. I needed something in stock and available now for my rental property. They had a nice selection of available furniture. Dennis provided charities that would pickup my old furniture. Furniture Direct delivered the new furniture as promised and the guys did a great job setting it up. I highly recommend this local business for your furniture needs.

Lies. I think they have learned to talk around answers so often that they probably don't know when they are lying or telling the truth. I won't bore with the details, but I sincerely beg you to consider purchasing from another company. While their prices are reasonable, their ability to be honest in timing, availability, etc is questionable at best. Once you threaten to cancel, the invoice shows up and you're out of luck... even if ALL of the suite isn't on the invoice and they can't tell you when the remainder will arrive. We made sure they knew from the very beginning that if ANY of our order would be outside of the 6-8 weeks (understanding COVID might have things at the outside of that window) that we needed to know immediately so that we could consider another option. We were told that nothing would be outside of that window... until later when we start asking for specifics. We still don't have all the furniture and still don't have the answers.This just isn't the way to do business.

For the past 10 years we have been purchasing furniture and bedding from your company for our property in Palmetto Dunes. Each time Glen has helped us out with very successful results. We recently purchased a sofa and love seat in early March and wanted to give a shoutout as well to the two men who made the delivery. They called beforehand, arrived on time and were very friendly, efficient and professional. Just wanted to thank you once again for a very positive experience from start to finish.

My husband and I recently purchased a 3 bedroom home on Hilton Head Island. We needed to furnish it and wanted to shop locally. We were fortunate to find Furniture Direct. They have a large in-store inventory, but they can also order from any number of manufacturers. While we did some browsing in the store, the bulk of our purchasing took place from Massachusetts, through emails and phone calls with Glen. He was extremely knowledgeable, and was able to assist us in finding the perfect furniture for all of our rooms, right down to the mattresses. When a manufacturer didn't get around to sending me a fabric swatch for a sleeper sofa, Glen mailed me his sample from the store. Much of our furniture was ordered during the pandemic. Just as we were ready to take delivery of our furniture, the governor of South Carolina closed the furniture stores. Then, Dennis Dove, stepped in, explaining that he could deliver to empty houses. In our absence, the Furniture Direct team brought the furniture into our home. They set everything up exactly as we specified, and they left the house spotless. We can't wait to move in and finish decorating. Thank you, Furniture Direct!
