Came into town and needed my wife's cars pads and rotors replaced. They got us right in the next day and had the car done by the end of the day.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Island Tire. Honest, reasonable, quick service. My Jeep has ridiculously tedious access requirements to change lightbulbs and I asked about changing all lights just to get it done due to labor process. They let me know they only changed the two I originally asked for because the others were not as difficult to access and they still functioned. Might not seem like a lot, but they could have easily convinced me to spend more than I needed to and sadly, lightbulb changes for this vehicle are not a dollar.

Having relocated to HHI from out of state, I needed to find a local shop for routine maintenance and repairs for my 1997 Jeep Wrangler. Based on the Yelp! reviews, I found Island Tire and went in for an oil change. While they do not take appointments, the first come, first served system works effectively. The staff were efficient and friendly. I have since needed several major repairs and the owner Berry took the time to speak with me and my husband. The most recent incident I had was my Jeep literally "died" just outside the Sea Pines Gate. Thank you to random bystanders who helped push my vehicle out of the road and to the parking lot on Office Park Rd. We got towed to Island Tire and gave Mike the keys. While it was not immediately clear what was wrong, Mike pursued every conceivable issue it might be. He finally concluded it was the PCM (computer) that was failing. The computer was sent to Florida for repair and now the Jeep starts and runs fine. Side note: the local Jeep Dealership Service Departments would not even touch the PCM for repair as my vehicle is just too old. I am thankful that Berry, Mike and the team at IT go above and beyond to keep my 1997 Jeep Wrangler on the road!

These guys have a very efficient system to get cars in and out. The staff, in its entirety, appears to be focused on doing a good job. I'm the prices aren't cheap but you get quality for the cost. I have brought tires in for repair on multiple Ocassions and they were honest and efficient.

My family and I needed unleaded automotive fuel for purposes of powering our internal combustion engine-powered vehicle. This Shell had multiple fuel options, such as 87 octane, 89 octane, and 93 octane. They also have diesel fuel options. Recommended for fuel.

Doesn’t list gas prices until you’ve pulled up to the pump. Grossly overpriced compared to neighboring stations.

While leaving Hilton Head for Pennsylvania i noticed a low tire pressure light on the rental suv. I took a look at the tire and saw a very small nail in the tread. I marked the location on the wheel. I googled this shop and stopped in about a repair. I explained i was leaving to the young guy behind the desk and was told i had to leave the car and it was a four hour wait, first come first served. I asked if someone could plug the tire and he said they dont plug tires they patch them. While walking out to my car i picked up discarded used wheel weights and metal in their parking lot and threw them in the trash (future business?). He did tell me where i could pick up a can of fix a flat and my own plug kit. Dont expect fast service here.

While working on Hilton one of my dual rear tires went flat. I took it here for service. I can't find the words to describe how friendly, quick they were. If I ever need car services while in Hilton Head I'm returning to Island Tire.

Highly recommend! Excellent experience! I had an issue with my car while traveling. They were able to address it quickly and with courteous and respective service (which is not always what women experience at auto shops).
