Went to go buy a fuit tart for my others birthday and we wanted one on display. The bakery worker at the time was so rude and disrespectful. We kindly asked for the displayed one and he argued that there was already a packaged one but the fuit was browning, why would i waste my money on a rotten fruit tart. And he went to ask a coworker their opinion and finally he packaged our cake. Why was their behavior so disrespectful? who knows but definietly just ordering a fruit tart online next year. What happened to customer service!!!!!!!

I am a little late writing this but the other night we visited your extremely nice store, and we met three people who made our shopping experience great: Jennifer, Valerie, and Nick! They were all three helpful and kind for different reasons. The store had all the items, and more that we wanted. . It was clean, and not confusing to navigate but the people you come across make it even greater! Thanks Guys!

Great store but do not trust the Hilton head Harris Teeter store with your drug prescriptions. They are understaffed and not trustworthy.

Way overpriced and very average. If you're desperate it's fine but arguably more expensive than any other market.

The store was clean and everyone was friendly. The selection of produce was great and nicely arranged. The pizzas look yummy and the sandwiches they were making looked good.

First time into Harris Teeter and I LOVE IT!!! It's like Whole Foods and Kroger had a baby. All of the produce looked beautiful. The prepared foods look fresh. Employees were very pleasant. Bonus: there's a Starbucks inside. It's a little further away than other supermarkets. They have great specials on Porterhouse steaks $7.99 a pound. Dot is at the sushi counter making fresh sushi. She even made me a special poke bowl. Alex helped me find some items I was looking for and was apologetic that there was no one at the Sbux. But he explained they are short staffed. I already had my Starbucks in hand before I arrived. But I appreciated his concern. I'm a Harris Teeter convert. See ya next week!!!

Arrived at HHI on Saturday and was staying a bit further, towards the "heel" of the island near Folly Beach. Needed to get some quick groceries. Following GPS to the nearest store had me driving to what felt like an off main area side neighborhood. Beautifully hidden from main traffic. Parking lot has those single direction angle parking. I normally don't shop at Harris Teeter since there are none near where I live. As is the case of most stores nowadays, discounts are associated with a shopper card which you register with all your information. We don't have one. Most likely it's due to it being Saturday night, the selection and quality of the fresh items were poor. The prepared food like rotisserie chicken was really small and looked dark and dried from being inside the heating/warming case most likely. Another shopper and I were looking at the organic vegetable and we're disappointed there were empty shelves and limp kale, etc. There were plenty of avocados but they were overripe. Fortunately there were other things, like packaged organic kale salad that we could substitute, packaged frozen meat and various DF Milk, eggs, etc. In HHI during peak season, vacationers are typically week to week with transition date being Saturday. When checking out, had asked the cashier if there was a store card to use or would I need to go fill one out from customer service. Fortunately, was able to use theirs. Prices were average for Hilton Head yet the deals helped with the card. Example was Honey was able to get GF frozen waffles for half price. Anyway, depending on what you want to get, you may want to find out what day their shipment arrives or return after the initial stock if shopping here. And if you don't have a store card, simply ask if they have one that can be used or sign up

I really like the store so much better then kroger where everybody needs to have an etiquette lesson and being friendly. This store is perhaps little higher in price but it makes it up with friendly peoples and lay out . the bags are better then kroger and publix . the store is really good further u go on to the island u will realise that this store is 1/ best

Worst store on the island, DO NOT GO HERE!!! The place smells of urine from the bathrooms when you come in the door. The employees are sub par and the prices are so much higher than anywhere else on the island. Management doesn't care and the way food is handled at the deli/ sandwiches ect. is disgusting. I would call a food inspector, but I will leave that to someone else that is grossed out as much as me!

It makes me sad to write this but I must. Being from Charlotte I am a life long Harris Teeter customer. I shop after work between 6 and 7 and night. I've been shopping here for about 2 years hoping that things would get better, but... This store is lacking in the deli department. The staff are not trained in the sandwich making area, some do not speak English well enough to communicate. Nothing is consistent. The precooked hot items like chicken must be first come first served because a lot of the time everything is gone. Same thing with sale items. When I asked why things are not available the answer was I should shop earlier.

Visited Harris Teeter on 03/31/20 to buy two items and osid s self check out. I walk out to hand my bag to my partner standing outside the entrance and said, "take these to the car. I got to use the restroom. 2 feet out the door and this employee shuts the sliding door. She said she was closed. The time was 8:03 pm. I know this because my receipt said 8:03pm. There were other people checking out and I told heri just needed to use the bathroom. In 5 to 10 seconds of crossing the threshold Harris Teeter person in charge was this rude. I'm from Charlotte Nc. and have a long history of loving Harris Teeter. This is THE worst and most unacceptable rudness ever. DONE

Very clean!!! Staff was so helpful. Lady from customer service came from behind her desk to walk with me to the two places that had polenta grits. If my wife wants polenta grits, then polenta grits she's going to get. Happy wife , husband even happier.

This store has the best selection of fresh produce. You can also find lots of International Food selections. Sometimes the prices are a little high but generally speaking it's lovely alternative to stores like Publix or Krogers.
