I went in last night. When myself and my son went up to the counter to check out an older lady looked at us and proceeded to walk out from behind the counter. At first I thought she didn’t have a drawer in and was getting someone who did…. NOPE I set a timer on my phone to see how long it would take for someone to come up. 45 minutes and it’s only because I went walking to find someone, the lady who walked out was acting as if she was stocking but she wasn’t she was just staring at an item I finally found someone and let her know there was a line of people

The store manager clueless, the district manager doesn't care and the Regional Manager has not a clue. The employees hate their job and care less about providing any service!!! Anyone interested in making more than $55,000 a year.....it wouldn't be hard to get the job! My first visit there when my wife and I moved to Honea Path this week, I waited in line almost 40 minutes to check out.
The DMV waiting time is quicker than this store!

Everything is always out of place and the store is never stocked of what you need and if it is then it's just not on the shelf yet or in the wrong place! They seem to never have enough help and most of the employees don't look like they are old enough to sell tobacco or alcohol or need to be in the store unsupervised but they are sometimes the only employee in there . I have spent over 4 hrs and they are near closing now trying to get someone to answer the phone bc I really need to talk to a manager about several problems that I've had with the store and left items but got distract manager number from another store and can't get Noone to return my call or even answer my call so guess I have to find a ride all the way back up there tomorrow and had to pay for the ride today just to get shorted over charged and molded hamburger buns on top of that will not be shopping at this store ever again but will be back tomorrow to get my stuff and see the manager

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The employees are extremely unprofessional. I went in today and decided I’d buy my children each a toy. They were listed as buy 1 get 1 75% off. When I went to check out the discount did not apply. I asked the employee about it and he seemed to be aggravated by me asking about it like he just didn’t want to do his job. He then told me it was blue dot yellow star so I asked him how I can tell the difference of which toys and he sarcastically said “ones a star and ones a dot”. They have all the toys in the same area with a tag over all of them. As I walked out of the door I heard him say to a manager “how stupid can she be”. Not to mention he had hickies all over him. I have reported this to corporate. The employees name is Shannon Jones. Absolutely do not recommend going here.

Cluttered with merchandise in isles. Does not honor FedEx pickup or Drop-off. Sales prices are often old or wrong. Terrible Dollar General location.

I tried to buy 4 flower pots (sign said buy 1 get 1 free of garden items). However cashier said they weren't included since only items listed in small print were BOGO). I tried unsuccessfully to explain that those items were the ones EXCLUDED from the sale since EXCLUDED was listed before the items. The lady behind me also said she had been to two other DG stores that day and had gotten flower pots for BOGO price.

I went here today the store is filthy nothing like the photos show of this store. Trash is Everywhere and has to search threw boxes to get what I need. One of the girls working there had her little children with her in a shopping cart while she works. They were crying . Poor babies. They need to close this Place down not only is it filthy and girls overcharging to pocket money it's disgusting. They should have left Tony the manager he ran it like a tight ship it was never dirty and everything was out of boxes and on the shelves. They need to fire EVERYONE in there and bring Tony back. It's like this all the time. How am supposed to shop if there are so many carts with stuff blocking the isles!

CHECK YOUR RESEATS! Iv now gotten double charged for things the last 5 times Iv been here and it’s always when the young female manger in working in the morning. They will “accidentally” scan it twice and call the female manger over to remove it and she acts like she does but you still get charged AND ITS ON THE RESEAT. then when you go back in to ask for your money and fix it she gives dirty looks or refuses. Iv watched the female manager and another girl (cashier) pocket money before when they didn’t give back the correct change and I’m not talking about some penny's, im talking about 20$+. Customer went back in to tell them she didn’t get correct change and they argued with her and I had just watched them pocket the 20$ right as she walked back in. I do not care if it’s 1$ or 30$ they double scanning when you only got 1 and pocketing the money customers work for.

This store is so filthy and nasty. Nothing is stocked and all you ever see pulling in is what I assume is the manager or lead outside vaping. Literally the only thing she knows how to do obviously..not running the store..or stocking...or doing her job.. she stays with a nasty unwelcoming attitude as well. Cashier was decent as least. I'll stick to foodlion or drive the few extra minutes somewhere else. This store screams disaster maybe get an employee that doesn't stand in front the front doors vaping all day and does her job.
