As a local resident, I really enjoy taking my furry four-legged companion on walks along the boardwalk loop and other trails that aren't too muddy depending on what kind of rainfall we've had recently.

Got there around Christmas so everything was closed unfortunately. But the restroom was still available for several ppl like us. The visitor center is the starting point of most east trails. I got free information sheets on the wall outside as a souvenir. It was glad to see ppl running or hiking with family on the broadway during the Christmas.

We were camping near by and figured this was an easy National Park stamp. What a surprise! The visitors center is well done with a great film on a continual loop. The rangers are so informative. Exploring further wasn't in our timeline but we know better for our next trip through.

Was surprisingly busy, we visited on Dec. 29th and it was pretty busy. The visitor center is small but very nice. Park Rangers were helpful and very informative.

Well kept boardwalk trail with self-guided informational pamphlet. Also did part of the Sims trail and also all of the Weston Loop then got back on the boardwalk.
