Ragan's Short Stop is a family-owned convenience store and gas station that has been operating since 1983. It is known for its delicious hot food, with multiple reviews calling its hot dogs the best anywhere and praising its chili cheeseburger as the best Carolina burger in years. The store is consistently described as clean, including the restrooms. The staff receives high praise for being friendly, wonderful, truly genuine, and going out of their way to help. The place gets packed during the lunch rush. Beyond snacks, beer, and gasoline, it also supplies live bait and fishing supplies for outdoor enthusiasts.
Clean, nice staff and good food that is prepared quickly. Turned into one of my favorite stops.

Can't go to the lake without stopping here for the food and lover the hotdogs here wish it was closer to home I'd eat them everyday. Good friendly people here also.
