I needed a new drug store after moving to the area! I love the privately owned drug stores and these guys are great! They got my prescriptions transferred with no issues. When I went to pick up my prescriptions the owner waited on me at the window and he was super nice and welcoming! So glad I found a great drug store!

Shout out to Thomas. My doc sat on my script all day and finally sent in soon before the pharmacy was closing. They were very busy but Thomas promised to have it ready, even if it was past closing. I got my script, as I was leaving town the next day and was in a bit of a panic. They always fill my scripts super fast and are always very nice. Shout out to Bobby also. I also like to support mom and pop businesses. I highly recommend Irmo Drug. Thanks guys for being awesome!

Huge shoutout to Thomas who took all my info over the phone. I transferred my Rx here after struggling with other pharmacies for a new medication on the market. He ran insurance and told me my copay and got the med ordered so I could start tomorrow. Super refreshing to deal locally and not with a centralized customer service line where you’re just a number!

I’ve been here twice, and both times, the staff was incredibly rude. They argued with us about whether or not we had Medicaid (we do). They argued that they never have accepted our insurance (they did. This is our second prescription with them. We have Medicaid—they accept it). They charged us incorrectly, and instead of working to figure out the issue and run things correctly, they refunded us so that they “wouldn’t have to worry about you [my husband] anymore.” Will never use this pharmacy again.

I called today with a last minute request, and was taken care of promptly! I will never go back to a corporate pharmacy , I will stay local! Highly recommend!! Very very nice as well!

Irmo Drug is very unique. They have fast, very fast service and the finest staff on the planet. Treat you like a King. Mr. Chapman created a wonderful drug store like no other.

The service was excellent, but the price of the drugs were way too high because they do not accept any national discount systems such as GoodRx making them uncompetitive (up to 3 times the cost of Publix). My Orthopedic doctor automatically sent the prescriptions to them.
