Went in as a new customer today and setup a business account. The process was very easy and the agent I worked with, Andrew Vaughan, was very courteous, engaging, and professional. I am very happy with my choice to do business with them.

I have accumulated a debt with Palmetto Citizens FCU, in Columbia SC. Instead of abandoning my responsibilities, I spoke with an associate in the credit dept. I attempted to make a settlement offer. I told them I can pay half right now to settle my debt. The woman then went to speak with one of Palmetto's managers. He stated in-order to settle the account, they would forgo future interest and penalties, but I would need to pay the entire amount. I questioned the settlement offer. Neither could give me an answer. So now, instead of negotiating for a portion of the debt, they get nothing. After my conversation, they called the credit unions to report my account in default. Palmetto say's they are not-for-profit. So how is it they charge me interest and fees and claim not for profit? Do yourself a favor. Close your account and run for the hills. If I wanted really bad service, I would have banked at Wells Fargo.

i’m very discouraged by PCFCU. Online mobile banking has been down for 3 days now, all call centers are closed, and when i pull up to an ATM it says my information is unavailable. I can’t check my balance to pay my bills and it’s frustrating. This credit union has really put me in a hole this week. DO BETTER FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS!

Palmetto citizens has really restored my faith in the banking industry not that I have been taken advantage of by them, it’s more about the going above and beyond mentality that was a breath of fresh air. To me the ease of banking and their not trying to charge me for these little crazy fee’s I find other banks doing. In fact while banking at P.C. for a months I received a check in the mail from my former bank not mentioning any names, but evidently they were caught by the government charging account holders for charges that were deemed not correct and Un ethical. They were ordered to pay the account holders back thou it was only $18 or $20 it was just the idea that made me have to question the whole industry.Thank you for being their for me at a time when I needed them. Keep up the great job!Robert Butchart

Having only been a client for under one year, my interaction has not been extensive. However, I have noticed that some of your staff is not warm and friendly, in fact some are almost rude in correcting an error or reminding me of holds on funds deposited. Think there are better methods to handle these problems. That never seems to happen if I bring chocolate!!!

They literally charge a fee for everything. Accidently used my PCFCU acct to pay my CapitalOne credit card instead of my CapitalOne checking and got hit with a fee from PCFCU....CaptialOne never charges fees! Also had to fight tooth and nail to get overdraft charges removed previously when i told them when setting up acct, i do NOT want overdraft protection nor the ability to. They corrected it after arguing with them and was told that it is not turned off and wouldnt happen again. Well it happened again. That's the only reason why there was no money in the account because i stopped dealing with these people. DO NOT USE THEM EVER..GREEDY

Bank is OK really aggravates me about this bank I get charged for using my debit card if I go pass certain amount of transactions mind blowing ? I get charged for spending my own money ?
