I'm from Florida and live half the year in eastern Tennessee. I travel back and forth about every 2 weeks, a couple months ago I ended up being short on fuel to make it to Tennessee, was near Columbia SC and searched for a pawn shop near me. I'm sure glad that I found Palmetto Gold & Pawn. Due to unforeseen circumstances and an injury I was unable to visit the store again until 2 months later. Not only did the staff allow and listen to me explain the situation but they went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied and had a positive outcome. In the future when I'm in need of a pawn shop I'm not going to say I'm going to drive from Florida or Eastern Tennessee just to patronize this business but if I'm looking for merchandise, I will make it a stop on my way back and forth when I pass through Columbia.
