I've been a customer with Carolina First/TD Bank since 1997. However, when I tried to make a wire transfer, I was treated as a terrorist at the branch. I called their support number before going and was told that my funds were available to use. I even clearly verified that it could be used for a wire transfer and was told yes. I get to the branch and was treated as some outsider. She questioned where my money came from and who I spoke to before coming to the branch. She told me that she would "allow" the transfer this time and I signed all the documents. Then called an hour after I left to be told it had to be cancelled because my transfer IN from another bank was questionable. I was told by this representative that the wire could be completed on Saturday, the next day. I go back on Saturday during my lunch break to wait to do this wire again. The other representatives did not know why this lady canceled my wire nor would look me in the eye to say it was the correct policy. Also, the wire could not be completed on Saturdays! Obviously this representative at this branch needs more training on knowing your customer, policy and being 100% truthful. I hope she doesn't question everybody about using their money as if they don't belong. I still own stock in this bank.

Within about 5 minutes I had a problem taken care of. The woman that took care of me treated me with respect and was very nice. Great Bank to do business with!

If you’re looking for credit card services you would have to be insane to use this bank. It’s not done in house. It’s very confusing and a nightmare to navigate. If you do join anthem bw prepared to spend hours waiting for any customer service needs and be prepared to be sent back and forth between agencies who will all not take responsibility for any problem. That’s if they can figure out who is responsible.

I like the location it's very convenient being able to pull up to the drive thru & not have to wait 30 min idling my car they seem to work quicker than the branch on two notch by sandhills that location always has a line of cars & the service is slow. At this location theyare speedy & much more pleasant. I dont like the fact everytime I need a cashier's check I have to pay $8 for it but it is what it is. $35 overdraft fees per transaction seems like predatory lending but that's just my opion & the people who work here have 0 yo do with that so they get 4 stars

I love this bank. Although TD Bank is a national group, this location really makes you feel like they are a home town bank. They know you by name and really go out of their way to welcome you and make you feel like you are special to them. There rates and fees are competitive as well. If you are looking to establish a banking relationship in Irmo, look no further than TD Bank on Lake Murray Boulevard.
