1 star because the space is lovely but service does not match the space-not even a little bit:-( First review that I've ever actually bothered to make because that is how terrible this massage was. Also, plan to pay for valet and if not, wait for valet because "they are so full"- don't think so.. another money making ploy IMO No adjustment of bill offered. Clearly not well-versed in true Southern Hospitality.

Sand and Sea salon in Wild Dunes is a salon with spa services. No steam rooms or lockers but they offer fantastic services. Massage therapists are some of the best around.

We rented a house in the Isle of Palms (off the Wild Dunes property) and wanted to enjoy a manicure and pedicure. Service was excellent! Later that week, my husband had a spa appointment for reflexology and he was equally pleased. Valet parking is easily accessible and free (you should tip these kids!). Shout out to Mary in the Spa. She gave an wonderful dinner recommendation that won the day with 7 picky people! (And my nails still look great!)

The reason I give this a 3 star is because of the atmosphere. I have been to many spas over the years, and for the price point was expecting a more up to date, modernized spa. The massage, on the other hand, was great. The pressure was perfect and she was very professional. The spa itself was very plain and did not, in my opinion, have that 'cozy' feel. I also felt that the pedicure chairs were a little out of place and in an odd space. If you have been to high end spas, you might be a little disappointed with the price point and out-dated atmosphere. If you are just looking for a good massage, then those things may not bother you.

Pretty basic massage Salon with no sauna or hot tub to relax. 50 minute massage was not a full 50 min. Staff was nice and friendly, but the atmosphere was pretty dull. Seashell massage was $130 with tip.

Sharon gave me an amazing deep tissue and Swedish massage. I had a lot of shoulder/pain and tension going in, and it was completely resolved when I left. She also distracted me with light conversation during the deep tissue portion so that it was easier to relax. Then, she let me relax quietly through the Swedish portion. It was exactly what I needed. The front desk was friendly and the facility was beautiful and tranquil. I would absolutely recommend her and the resort. I work in the beauty industry, so I am picky about my massages. Sharon was stellar.

After hosting a 4 day conference at the Wild Dunes, I was able to enjoy a little "me" time at the spa with a warm seashell massage. The spa is quite small and not full service (i.e. no showers, locker rooms etc.), but the service itself was truly fantastic. It was exactly what I needed after an exhausting week on my feet!

Great service. Massage area has nice atmosphere, mani/pedi area offers a large window for your viewing pleasure or simply close your eyes and listen to the smooth sounds playing throughout the spa. Immerse yourself in relaxing comfort with Sand & Sea Spa services. Try a package. Its worth it.

SAND & SEA SALON AND SPA (Wild Dunes Resort): My husband and I received the BEST massages that we have ever had! Eric and Cameron are AMAZING! They are very skilled, attentive and considerate therapists. I booked the massages at same time that I made accommodation reservations (all online). There was no wait and we were whisked back immediately upon arrival to the spa. The treatment rooms are clean and very comfortable. These massages were exactly what we needed to compliment our relaxing, mini-vacay!

It was a very luxurious experience. The Wild Dunes resort is basically it's own section of Isle of Palms beach, and you walk straight down from the Inn to the beach. The rooms are very well kept, and the king bed was perfect. Overall great experience!

Our family stayed at a house in Wild Dunes and absolutely loved it! The resort area is so nice and the beach is great- very clean.
