We are a family of 7 (2 adults and 5 children). This has been the worst resort we have ever stayed at. Customer service is close to none. Didn’t get the rooms we booked (and we had confirmation). They must have overbooked. We asked for a rollaway cot the first two nights for both rooms. We only got one. Then I had to go back again to request another cot the next day. Why couldn’t I just be put on the waitlist already? I still didn’t get another cot! The restaurant I ordered pizza from, there was a teenager taking my order. She made me pay for my order and then proceeded to talk to her friends and give her friends free ice cream before she went to get my drinks. We got a map of the resort, but nobody even explained to us all of the activities that are available for us. For the price of the rooms at this resort, the stay here is awful. Don’t waste your money here.

Avoid. Overbooked, overpriced, run a monopoly on parking after you spend a fortune to stay there.
They will overbook and fill the parking lot, and then force you pay $35 a night to valet park your car. The place is run by 20 year olds who all act pissed when you ask for advice.
Will look forward to vacationing anywhere else next time.

This is a fantastic place to stay. I had a rough day of travel with a planned stay at a VRBO that ended up being filthy upon arrival and that I only stayed at for an hour searching for a new place. At 11 p.m. I was able to check into Wild Dunes Resort with 2 suites. The staff was outstanding. In particular Boipello at the front desk who not only immediately offered me a bottle of water, listened to my woes, and just all in all an outstanding person. She even remembered me two days later and greeted me by name when I returned to the resort from my son's wedding. The staff alone made this place a 10 out of 10. The beach, pools, and activities were the icing on the cake.

Wonderful experience! Our family enjoys coming here for a few days out of the year. The convenience of having the amenities within walking distance, multiple pools, food options and more make for a relaxing getaway. We've both the vacation rental homes and the actual hotel. We preferred the hotel as the vacation rental/condo was a bit dated and dirty. But the location of the condo was right on the sand/water which was perfect for laying out and enjoying the beach.

I wanted to share our experience during our recent stay at your resort. While we were excited to visit, our check-in process was disappointing. There was a long line with only one receptionist available, leading to a frustrating delay. Additionally, upon check-in, we were informed about a margarita event on the 10th and 11th, but when we tried to verify with both the front desk and concierge, no one seemed to know about it. Eventually, we had to confirm the event at the rooftop bar, highlighting a miscommunication at check-in.Furthermore, our room was not up to standard. The ice machine was not functioning, and instead of attempting to fix it, we were provided with ice, which was inconvenient. Additionally, our room was not cleaned throughout our stay, and our toilet stopped working. Despite notifying the staff, no one came to address the issue.Parking was another issue, particularly for our elderly in-laws. It was inconvenient for them to have to walk across the street for self-parking, especially considering our past experiences where parking was closer to our building.Overall, we expected a more resort-like experience, but the property seemed poorly managed. The lack of attention to detail, miscommunication, and unaddressed issues left us disappointed. Even during check-out, the receptionist didn't inquire about our stay or seem to care about our experience. Unfortunately, based on our recent visit, we are hesitant to return in the future.

The resort is absolutely beautiful. However, some of the rooms are not as advertised on their website (as far as what they include) and the on-site restaurants are ridiculously over-priced and close early. We booked for 7 days and the Hyatt website clearly states that the 2 Queen Bed with Ocean View includes a full kitchen and washer & dryer (our room did not have this). We were here for a baseball tournament all week, so we desperately needed a washer & dryer to wash clothes/uniforms and we needed more than a mini fridge for our family. After checking into our room, I went down and told the front desk about the room not having the full kitchen/washer & dryer that it advertised (and that we needed and spent a lot of money on) and they said that they would leave a message for the manager, but no one ever contacted us. A manager was never available ever.We also received a text from a survey telling us to email the manager about our experience, but the manager never responded to our email. We ended up having to hand wash our clothes in the sink all week. It was the worst room that I’ve had in the last 15 years of traveling.

10 min from ocean. Was relocated since our 1st place had no hot water for the 1st night and had to leave quickly. Both places were furnished nicely.

It is a private area on the island, but extremely busy, everything needs reservations to eat at.
