Resort is fine but all food and beverages are priced at a premium and be prepared for the security at the gate to treat you like a prison inmate if you accidentally drive up to the wrong gate. Santa Claus looking guard needs an attitude check. Gate security is the first line of the hospitality experience and for that I would give zero stars.

Overall very nice, but definitely not worth the money. We were here during a non-peak time and the even at that there was almost no room at the pool or seating areas. This resort is clearly undersized for number of potential guests, especially if your plans are to stay on property. Other than tennis and golf, we could not find any more casual resort activities like volleyball, crochet, or shuffleboard. We stayed at the Sweetwater Hotel, and the number of small kids made for very loud and unruly experience. I would not recommend the hotel for couples looking to get away for a romantic or quite holiday. Parking was infuriating, the size of the self-park lot was small, holding maybe 50 cars, which for the size of this resort is way undersized. The resorts solutions was to valet park at $35/night, which might sit well with some but isn't my preference.Rooms: Rooms are very well decorated, exactly what you would expect from a new resort. Our room had a large LCD TV and comfortable beds. The toilet area with it's own door is a nice touch. We booked a room with a premium view and balcony, and although you could only see the ocean in the distance it was still very nice.Safety: Hotel area is very nice, in a clearly affluent area, including the surrounding communities. Security is present on the property, although you never felt the need for them to be there.Walkability: This resort is very consolidated, aka small, so it's only a short walk to where you want to be.

Went to do a Cooking Interview and Chef had me stay 2 nights on the property. A very beautiful property indeed. Soon as you get here you have the option to get your car parked in garage. Of course that's a no Brainerd.Check in was very easy and simple and I was up to my room. Room was very nice with outside seating which is a plus in my book to enjoy a book and wine. Beds are very comfortable and room controlled temperature.I walked around the property whole time I was here. They have a big swimming pool and a hot tub centered on the side. Couple mini shops as well as 5 restaurants.I went to Coastal Provisions for dinner and ordered the Caesar Salad with Grill Shrimp and Wagu Beef Cappacio. Salad dressing for salad was a bit mild for my palate and I had to cut up my lettuce on every bit because it was such big pieces. Shrimp was executed perfect in my book.Location wise you will have to drive about 3 miles to get to stores and about 5 to 7 miles to get to restaurants if you do not want the food advertised there. Overall a great experience. More family oriented spot.

What a joke this place is. I booked two suites for my family for a wedding. Called the Front Desk, TWICE, to give them everyone in our party’s name, so they wouldn’t get hassled when they checked in, because they were getting there first. Prepaid suites, and they still wouldn’t check us in!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS HYATT DUMPSTER FIRE!!!

I had an absolutely exceptional stay! The rooms were beautiful, squeaky clean and well appointed. There was even a Nespresso machine in the room, with pods! The resort staff were extremely friendly and the food was the best food I’ve had at a resort. Looking forward to being back!!

Overall a beautiful resort, great location and amenities, all within a comfortable walk or golf cart ride. Excellent service from the staff. I have four stars due to the overall noisy environment wherever we went and that both the rooftop bar area and the pavilion at the ocean were closed off due to weddings. Of course we understand the need to cater to functions, but both nights we were there the rooftop was not available to us to enjoy.Rooms: Nicely appointed and comfortable, unfortunately was able to hear noise in passage and from adjoining roomsSafety: Feel very safe.Walkability: Safe, easy and visually appealing walkability.Food & drinks: Nice variety of options, just very pricey.Noteworthy details: Loved the fire pits that were available for making s’mores.

TLDR: utterly ridiculous parking which forces you to pay for valet or drive in circles, mismanagement resulting in too young and not enough staff, primary goal is to charge you more fees, not worth paying money to stay here. One ply toilet paper in the room, ridiculous for any resort. Steep resort fees with MINIMAL free parking, valet would be $35 a night. During the weekend expect to join the line of cars circling the tiny double parked lot hoping for someone to leave. You may find parking along back court rd where there are no signs specifying what parking pass is required, if any. I still showed our BWI pass on the dash. What a great way to relax when you're stressed to even leave a spot If you get it otherwise you're adding money to your bill. Yet they have AMPLE employee parking in the lot down the road. It questions what the resort fees are even for when when free activities to do are severely limited. Family based activities can be completed in a day, so any extended vacation becomes repetitive and they still are not free. Beach chairs are for members only or for steep rental fees. The Boardwalk inn room that was booked was a king bedroom, our bed was made up of two combined twin mattresses, which is shorter than a king and frankly false advertising. Housekeeping obeys do not disturb signs but didn't replenish our robes or fill up the shower supplies. When we got into the room we had three towels for four guests but housekeeping gave us the correct number after a cleaning. There is also no ability to cast devices to the TV. Hyatt status typically comes with a preferred room upgrade, we got a level one room that faced a side street with a shared balcony. Disappointing but not something to expect to happen everytime. We did have two young children on our booking with the ages shown, yet we were booked in a room with a shower instead of a tub. Hyatt status also comes with late checkout, however, the front desk and information documents says this comes with a fee. We also were not given the free waters that come with status. You'd be surprised how little water fill-up stations there are throughout the resort. There is also a lack of online ordering at restaurants so you can order wherever you are. All of the charges from various restaurants have the same billing label so don't plan on organizing your expenses. We did not find out that you could bill to your room until the last day, it would have made it easier to not carry around a wallet. Information that should be presented during check-in. There is not really any pool side service for any restaurants or bars, probably due to the lack of staff. The pool at the sweet grass inn is the best for kids, the boardwalk inn is adults only, and the beach pools are kid friendly but can be crowded. The towel systems are nice so you don't have to worry about bringing any, if they have towels or the hamper isn't full. It's a $25 fee if you do not return the towel, but at times the return hamper was so full you couldn't even fit any inside. Indicative that staff is low or not doing their job. It's quite obvious that management is poor when the entire staff is basically made up of high school students and during rush hour only two people are running an entire store. If you go into the sweet shop after dinner or the coffee shop in the morning, the line wraps around the inside of the store because two people are working and most likely one is an inexperienced high school student. It's not their fault either, it's the managements fault who scheduled not enough people. We were at the pizza shop one night and were told a 45 min wait, it happened to only be about 15 mins, but after we got sat down no one came to take our order for 20 mins. During that 20 mins I watched as friends of the younger wait staff asked if they could get a table, they immediately got sat next to us and proceeded to order, eat, pay, and leave before we got food. With younger inexperienced staff comes the chance of lower or preferred service. Management nee

Understand fully. They assign you whatever room on the property they want. Wanted a king bed...too bad...ocean view...maybe not. Keys did not work several times. Isolated from restaurants, stores ect...about a 15-20 minute ride. Hard to get Uber or ride share. Sure...they have palm ?Food & drinks: Very high priced and some of the options are mediocre at best. Only one restaurant per hotel. Drink prices are astronomical.

I just checked in today and we will be here for a week. We are here for our 10th anniversary. We was set up in a condo that was top notch. Well it's was dirty outdated so unsafe and gross. My wife broke down in tears. Our travel agent reached out to sweet grass in less then a hour we was in a beautiful room here and so clean. Hayden the manager went above and beyond to fix what the condo people did.
