I've been going down there for about 6 years now, I drive limousines and transport guests around the island. Very beautiful place to live or visit

4.5 stars. A bit above average skill level with water hazards and gators on almost every hole. Most of the course was in very good to excellent condition. The greens are in excellent condition.

Beautiful spot. Very well maintained. Bunkers are well taken care of. Tee boxes are in great shape. Very nice round of golf. Water on 17 of the 18 holes and a great little food area during the turn. Will definitely recommend

Nice course. The low stars is due to the $300 price tag. It’s double what they should charge for that level of golf. It’s got the Kiawah name but it’s way off the island and not really part of the other 4.I would pass for the price.

my husband and son in law played golf ⛳ here and they said its a bit of a good challenge. they had fun and enjoyed this course..also had a few nice size alligators onto this course, they were never a bother just getting sun after long week of hard cold rain.

It was not a great experience playing at Oak Point Golf Course. The staff is rude and borderline miserable to be around. The golf course is nothing special. For the money i would play other courses in the area. Either save some money and play something comprable or better, or spend a little more and get a much nicer course to play on. Not a memorable experience except for the rude staff at the course.

I came to Oak Point with a group of friends and couldn't have been more excited to play some golf on Kiawah Island. If you don't read this whole review, here it is in short: STAY AWAY FROM THIS COURSE. From the second we arrived, the staff was extremely rude and short with us when asking simple questions, such as "do you have food". It was everything you hated about golf culture manifested into two nerds on a power trip. Relax, you're not on the tour and never will be. And your course is not Augusta. Next, they don't list the price on the website for a reason. This borderline municipal course was $290!! On a weekday nonetheless. Complete insanity. The greens were slow and the fairways were a mess. My group played a 4 hr and 10 minute round and the group behind us was up our a** the whole time. We were confused why, then realized that these four guys were playing from the women's tees. We watched a couple of their shots and they were just duffing balls into the water and not even getting them. Come to find out, these dudes were members and complained about our pace of play. I'm assuming everyone around here is a rich d-bag and terrible at golf. We will never come back here, and I hope no one else ever spends the money on golf at Kiawah. You can play a course of the same caliber for $250 less, and also not deal with the country club.

What a great way to finish 72 holes in 2 days @ Kiawah Island! Oak Point's a fun course with "risk reward" holes and "right in front of you" holes. The last 5 holes, remind you it's golf in the Low Country. #18's a fantastic finishing hole, that rewards length off the tee and moxy to shoot at the pin. I highly recommend adding this course to your list!
