The worst bank I’ve ever had connections with. The relationship is terrible now. I hope they shut this place down. I open my account back in 2019 in Columbia, SC. They were good but they do nothing to help their customers. They don’t even do business related dealings. I paid a guy to build an app for last year, the guy never finished the app and I used my founders card to pay him. I went to do the dispute which they approved me for the credits of $9,200 on October 2nd and said I could use those funds for whatever. I started spending the money and now they try to take back the credits and it put my credit card -6,000. They mislead me and told me over and I could use the funds. I will never recommend using this service. As you can see from the ratings the customers don’t lie. The business is trash. If you’re thinking about going with them, this is your que to not go with them. Save yourself the trouble.

Connie Fulton in the loan department is the worst representative of this bank. She is extremely difficult and lies on emails. Do NOT get a car loan from this credit union. Don’t go to a branch or use the online system.

This credit union is trash and they don’t work for the members like credit unions should they operate like a traditional bank. Find a credit union he puts their members first! The plantation address fit a perfect description of how they operate!

Terrible customer service. You can’t even get in touch with the certain branches it’s a call center that can’t answer your questions and transfers you to a voicemail every time. Finally called to make a complaint and was told they will call me back. What a joke. I’m closing my account.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I’ve been banking with founders for 16 years. They have been great up until now. I have had some fraudulent charges on my account: multiple times now, one as of yesterday. It’s a brand new card, haven’t used it anywhere. At one point during this whole process, which had been going on since November 7th it was insinuated it was all my fault. Talk about a lack of customer service. All around just no care about their customers.

Customer service has declined over the years! To make your members feel like a burden is unacceptable. Was transferred to another department without a word, just a transfer. I was confused as to what happened, then the person I was transferred to was extremely rude when I explained what happened and I was confused as well. Do better with CS!

While the nefarious actions of the corporate world remain as devious as ever, knowledge of their conduct has become more mainstream so the practices of a corporation such as Founders— along with this review— should come as no surprise.Since corporations are ruled by the profit motive, they can be by definition greedy, selfish, and ultimately indifferent to the well-being of others.In my four years that I have been a member of Founders, I have yet to have a positive experience with anyone from that bank— especially upper management. Founders may say they have the customer’s best interests at heart, but their mandate is clear: to make money and maximize the wealth of their shareholders. This compels them to behave in ways such as showing callous disregard for the feelings of their customers, the incapacity to maintain human relationships, the reckless disregard for the safety of others, the incapacity to experience empathy.Stay away from Founders. You will be treated much more like an actual human being at Navy Federal or Telco.

I went to Founders Federal Credit Union after High Mcoll from Bank of America started illegally charging and overcharged customes, now I find that Founders Federal Credit Union is practicing same rules as every other bank in America. What has happened to the Federal Credit Unios in this country??. Everyone is trying to rip off the consumer. I'll start keep my money in my mattress and forget banks!!!

I am a member of four different credit unions and by far Founders is the worst. Unfortunately, I had the experience of dealing with the bank manager, Matt Gross, and he proved to be insensitive, uncaring, and incompetent. I would advise anyone thinking of signing up as a member to go elsewhere— to a credit union that actually cares about their customers; not just the bottom line.

Very bad experience when apply for loan online. Representative is extremely unprofessional. First give you oral pre-approval ( refuse to give official pre-approval letter) with 1.99% apr and retreat it one week later with a much higher rate. Never concern your benefit. Stay farrrrrrrrrrrrrrr away from founders!!

Bank refuses to insure fraudulent charges on my account. I lost all my money and I am disabled. Please dont use this bank!!!!!!!! I did not have a problem with Wells Fargo.. My name is Debra A Brown. BEWARE OF THIS BANK. I HAD 2 CHARGES WHERE SOMEONE CALLED and paid there debts using my DEBIT CARD ACTING LIKE ME FOR $1100 and $927. They refuse to cover it. More money was lost and they refuse to cover it also.
