“Not sure if it's still open or not but Kenny was very helpful, & friendly. He has great prices, decent *USED* cars. You will get what you pay for. I've gotten 2 vehicles from him & both lasted over a yr, not to long for a car right? Well considering one I only paid $975 (explorer sport, control arm needed replaced so bought a new car instead) & the other $1100 (cavalier I traded in for a suv still ran just overheated) I think it's a great deal. Haven't been here in years but I think it's an awesome place for people who are struggling with transportation & finances & need a cheap car quick.”

“I waited a few weeks before writing this review just because I wanted to have more time with the Explorer before singing the praises of Penland and I have nothing but great things to say about them and the explorer. I drove almost 4 hours to see the vehicle that I had hunted for over the last couple of months. Great staff, very fair Doc fee, held the vehicle until I could get there for a small, completely refundable deposit. Made the trip, loved the Explorer, few minutes of paperwork and I was on my way home.
To be honest, I kept waiting for their “gotcha” moment but it never came. Hands down the best car buying experience I’ve ever had in my 30 years of buying vehicles. To top things off, probably 6 weeks after buying the explorer, I got a package in the mail from Penland, they had found a 2nd key fob for this explorer, looked up my info and sent it to me!! Made my weekend !! Thanks guys!! See you next time”
