I must say. I continue to be impressed by this unassuming auto service shop. Owner, Sandy, and his team, provide proficient analysis of the vehicle's problem. They take time to fully describe the process used during their exploration.

At the end of my original Post (below), I mentioned our old van that still had an ongoing issue. We dropped it off. Sandy drove it and then ran further performance analysis and made his determination on the problem. After installation of the part the van us running we'll. We'll monitor for a bit, but it was such a relief to drive it without it acting up!!

Do not let the slightly unkempt exterior fool or deter you from using this auto garage. The owners and their team are knowledgeable and courteous.

I had gotten 75% into a project to replace my rear camera on my older Ford Edge, when I got stuck. I was 2 steps away from being able to unplug and change out the camera. I could not get 6, 2 in threaded stud screws (Not an official term) out. Put everything back together except popping the back inner hatch cover.

Feeling defeated, I checked online for a local service, rather than a corporate service center, that might be able to handle the job.

We've grabbed meals for many years at the Crossroad's Cafe across the street from S and M and I've seen the building many, many times. When I saw them on the map, I gave them a call on a Monday. They felt they could complete the job for me. They had a few days of work in front of me so I came by on Thursday. I was waiting with the car and was lucky they could work me in. Bing-bang-boom, around an hour later I was ready to go. Very affordable. A $600 job at the dealership or big box auto service and I got away well under $200. So WORTH IT.

The team worked well together. Poking fun and laughing periodically throughout the job. I like to see/hear employees enjoy what they are doing and with whom they are sharing the work.

I've got an old van I'll be bringing by to see if they can chase down the culprit of an ongoing issue.
