This business is poorly ran. They tell you that it’s a cash only deposit when you drop off, and that there’s an ATM a mile down the road. Then fail to tell you that the whole order is cash only. They will not accept credit/debit. They rely on you to receive their text (no call) and pick your order up within 48hrs.If you want to donate your harvest, they want $80 from you. This business is a pain to deal with. Go to bellinski. They’ll stay late as you need. They even take CashApp/Venmo/PayPal which was even faster than using a card. As for price, they’re abt the same. Campbell’s has more options to choose from but it’s not worth it to me.

So their website plainly states they are closed from 12 to 1pm on Saturday. At 1:15pm on Saturday I show up after a text message and they are closed. I show up today at 7:45pm and they are closed. I call and tell them I’m outside and this is my 2nd attempt to pick up my venison. Tom, with an attitude allows me in. I express as business owner how frustrated I was and gave my opinion. Tom told me to take my business somewhere else. Totally floored I quiz him on how his hours posted states closed from 12 to 1pm on Saturday. . Tom then told me that we all know how Google is. Mind you business owners have the ability to edit Google operation of hours and days open. As he walked back to get my venison, his wife states he’s not been taking his diabetic medicine. So my bill was $280.00 and they only take cash or check.Cash or check only would be another thing I would have posted on my website. I get home and I have cube steak. All I ordered was snack sticks and burger. Yet I have cube steak. He prides himself on cooked product and most processors in the state send him meat for cooked product. His website has a login for other processors. Maybe other processors get a better level of service. 2nd Google review ever so this is all true. Do yourself a favor and go to Johnson’s or The Great Outdoors. They take debit as well as cash.

Two stars. The price is outrageous 498$ we paid to have our deer done. That is just crazy never again. For that amount I could have gotten more at the grocery store. My husband loves to hunt but we also need the meat to eat. It helps a lot through the winter when work is slow. We will never take another deer here again. On top of it they got the order wrong and wouldn't fix it which I did leave without checking and for that it's my fault. The only reason they got two stars is the packaging was good.

I've processed around 70 deer at Campbell's in the last 20 years. They are expensive but very good quality.

Best in town. Best flavor and I feel like I get more meat back. I've tried 3 other places and didn't feel like I got all of my deer back.Edit:Used to love going there but his prices have gotten too high. I used to pay 120 per deer and now it's 180... that's why the 3 stars now.

Campbell's wouldn't be my first choice. Compared to other processors from my experience, Campbell's prices are steeper (for processing, skinning, gutting, and select meat cuts per lb.). In comparison, for what Campbell's charged for my deer, Tucker's would have been about $80 cheaper and with better packaging. Also, I was charged for just a scalp (no cape). In fairness, like other processors, Campbell's will give you what you ask for. It's just that you should expect to pay more out of pocket (let the required $80 deposit up front be a clue to you).

First time using Campbell's and will be my last. Which should make the owner happy since he was sure to let me know I wasn't one of his "regular's" and apparently that's the only customers he wants to keep. He got on me about how long it had been since the kill and not field dressed. Honestly it was 5 hours from kill to processor but it was never over probably 45 and windy that day and I was hunting in Bishopville. Then he tried to accuse me of not tagging my deer properly and how he could turn me in to DNR and the punishment I'd get. I politely showed him that I did tag it right and he finally changed his tone toward me. Also I had to pay an $80 deposit just to drop deer off with no kind of estimate as to what balance I would owe when my meat was ready. After a basic cut hamburger, cube steak and loins and one pack of snack sticks I owed $71. If I had been treated with some respect like I gave him I would almost be willing to pay the premium price because of the convenience to my home and as a lot of the other reviews have said it's a clean place that does good work. Unfortunately, due to the owner's lack of respect for me he's lost a customer in me and anyone else that asks me what I think about Campbell's.

The staff is always friendly, and the prices are reasonable. They have lots of options for fully cooked products, too. They have summer sausage, bologna, jerky, etc. My favorite is the snack sticks.
