If you're looking for a bank that has its clients financial interests in mind, and that communicates effectively, do not use First Community. Our mortgage experience with them has been ridiculously frustrating and we've been given the run around for 3 months for something that should have been handled in a day.

I was banking and one teller got rude about their pen!!! I just needed one to fill out a form!! Needless to say if you’re a bank and u can’t spare one pen when I see 7 in a jar on your desk u shouldn’t be in business!!! At the other bank I don’t have any trouble with that!!!

In my opinion and per my experience, First Community Bank is THE BEST! We have banked with FCB for decades and they have always been friendly and helpful. Recently, we have moved out of state. If my new local bank is half as nice and professional, I will be content.

There seems to always be problems with either the mobile app or the internet site on the weekends (when no one is available to fix it) there needs to be an after hours call service to resolve issues at night or on the weekends. Not everyone works banker hours.
