We have taken our pets (cat and dogs) here for 30 years. The staff have always greeted and treat our pets as if they were long lost friends. We just said goodbye to our 15 year old Pug, Belle, and we were once again touched by Dr. McCauley's sensitivity and care during this difficult time. She is the best.

We have been SO impressed with Dr Keisler at Cherokee trail. Our Puppy has had ongoing issues with UTIs; has been on 3 types of antibiotics and also required an ultrasound. She has called several times; explaining things in very detailed way, and always seems to have time for you..Dr Keisler even called today simply to see how our puppy was doing.

You already feel guilty and embarrassed enough when your dog eats something bad. I don’t need Cindy scolding me and embarrassing me in front of other pet owners and staff. When I said I don’t know of I mistook what she meant or if she was trying to shame me by being passive aggressive she just laughed. ????

I don’t normally do this but the lack of compassion bothered me. My normal vet is out sick and has been for over a week. I called you on their recommendation. Obviously I am calling because there is something wrong with my dog. I wasn’t even able to explain what was wrong before the lady on the phone said, “We have no openings anytime soon.” No openings even for a possible much needed visit to make sure my dog is okay. These people are the best I’ve ever encountered! The techs, the front desk, and the vets are all loving, caring people. They’ve bent over backwards working with me and my furry baby, and there’s no question in my mind that they love our pets. An especially huge shoutout for Dr Mary Keisler who just wont give up on my precious Winston. I love and trust everyone at Cherokee and recommend them highly.

Thank you Cherokee Trail for making visits during this pandemic so easy! Chloe had her yearly check up last week and the system you have in place to protect clients and staff was excellent. Everything was done in an efficient and timely manner. I know coming out to our vehicles is more work for doctors and staff and I know you are more tired at the end of the day, but please know it is greatly appreciated. I brought my dog here when I moved to Lexington in 2018. She had a lot of medical issues and I was worried about finding a vet who understood and had knowledge about her condition. Three days after I moved here she got sick and needed the vet. They were awesome. They didn't know much about her condition but were happy to do some research and listen to me about what I typically do for her when she has a problem (what meds, fluids, etc.) we saw Dr. Brown numerous times until my girl suddenly got sick in January. When Dr. Brown finally figured out what was going on, she explained all my options, and ultimately was supportive of the choice to put her to sleep. The staff was amazing during that time, and a week later I received a hand written sympathy card signed by the staff. Amazing clinic and amazing staff. A little pricier than some clinics but definitely worth it.
