So, we're new to the area and we're looking for a local financial institution. One of the things we were looking for was a bank that has coin machines available for its customers. We always have pocket change, that we dump into a small jar at home and it fills up quick. The credit union back where we can from had one at every branch. We appreciated that as that change adds up quick. Palmetto Citizens FCU has those machines available and we appreciate that. We opened our accounts online on the PCFCU website. The process was pretty straight forward. The hardest part was taking a well lighted photo of our drivers licenses for upload. The most time consuming part of this process was the security holograms that would make the photos less than useful. After several attempts and adjusting the lighting, problem solved and uploads were successful. Minus the photo upload issue, the whole process took minutes. One other issue arose when trying to set up the online banking on their website. My setup was quick and easy. My wife's however we hit an obstacle due to an email address issue. We received a prompt onscreen to call the bank to complete the online banking setup. A quick phone call and the issue was resolved. The representative we spoke to on the phone was polite, patient, knowledgeable and super friendly. She stayed on the phone and walked us through the problem click by click. We also learned from her that in order to add a joint account holder to the account, we must go into a branch to do that. We will take care of that tomorrow. And update the review if needed. The minimum balances to open accounts were very reasonable so we opened two savings accounts and a checking account. We're excited to be settling in the Midlands.

I would say they have terrible customer service, but you can't be bad at something you really don't do.I had fraud on a credit card (which they caught to their credit) and there is nowhere to dispute the charge as part of the website beyond sending an email to an outside company who handles their credit cards. Long story short, after several unanswered emails I went by a branch and someone called to check the status of my dispute. The money was returned to my card, but I am still waiting for any type of reply that the case was even opened (yes I know it has been closed, I am referring to communication) from back in April. For reference, it is almost August at this point.Also I have had 2 late payments to this bank simply due to the fact that THEY NEVER BILLED ME! This is a secondary account for me and I noticed the payments due, one on my Visa card, and one on a personal loan simply by logging into my account because I knew a payment had to be coming up even if I never received a bill and saw the red past due notice.When I messaged as to why I never received a bill it took about 3 days to get a reply (again messaging whatever outside company they use) and my reply was basically "Well, if you log into your account you can see when a payment is due"For now I am keeping an account just for the one fact that their Visa has a very low APR. Other than that I can not trust them with my money simply due to the poor communication. Then again, as I mentioned in the first sentence, can you really be poor at something you don't even try to do?

Tried to order checks, I changed my address so online it said I had to go to the bank. Went all the way to the bank, showed my info, was told it was all set. Now I get home and try to order checks. It still wants to print my old address and send them to my old address. They have my phone number wrong. I have corrected it three times, they still have the wrong phone number and I still can't order checks.

Extremely disrespectful used coin machine kept messing up so I got Receipt walked to desk then refused to give me money for my coins becausei didn't have my ID then man asked me if my mom could come up there when I'm a 28 year old man and she's been dead 10 years never felt so disrespected in my life

Melody Nelson is THE MOST unprofessional and rude bank representative that I have EVER spoken with. Things happen and employees make mistakes but raising your voice towards a customer and not taking any responsibility for the mistakes of your employees, is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE.Melody should be fired. She is in the wrong profession for her hateful personality.

I called at 1130Am and I have yet to hear anything back. My cards aren’t working the website and mobile account aren’t accessible and this is after the maintenance was done

I've had nothing but issues with this bank. First they got my name wrong, then my address and phone wrong. Secondly, no app will work with them like cashapp or venmo. You can't call them because it goes to an automated call center which has you holding forever. I can't even go there to close my account because I'm only available to do so on the weekends and they have zero Saturday hours like most other banks do. Plus, they never sent me my replacement card and it's been 3 weeks. I haven't been able to even use my account. Worst experience with a bank in my whole life.

This branch has the most compassionate and caring men and women. They are always helpful and greet you with a smile. I don’t care if I’m at the drive thru or inside the building I feel so appreciate and loved by the team at Redbank! Keep up the great work!

When I first moved to Columbia I dealt with PC. They behaved just like a bank. I have since found another local credit union that is MUCH better.
