I went in to The Lexington location to buy a wedding ring, and the entire experience was completely rude and dismissive. It took me 20 minutes of standing there to get service, and when I finally spoke with an older, heavily made up lady, she had the audacity to tell me that buying a ring for under $1,000 wasn't properly communicating love. It's a shame, becaus I buy all of my University of South Carolina fan gear here, but I'll never set foot in there again.

I have always put lifetime batteries in my watches. It started with Jewelry Warehouse. When Traditions Fine Jewelers opened I took two watches in and was told neither had lifetime batteries from Jewelry Warehouse. I recieved a call from Traditions asking if I would like lifetime batteries put in my watches~my reply was YES. Today I go to pick up my watch that is suppose to have a lifetime battery in it from "Traditions" to be told it did not have a lifetime battery. I got CHARGED AGAIN today for another Lifetime battery. Keep your receipt.

Generally have great service, drove 30 minutes to make a purchase earlier today. Was not greeted or acknowledged in any way. The same sales representative was right next to me, about 3 times and he didn’t say hi, be right with you, nothing. I was shocked and disappointed. Not sure that I’ll return. Needless to say, I left without making my purchase.

Went in to get a battery for my watch and the person that does it wasn't in. I would've had to come back to pick it up the next day but the other clerk Maria was kind enough to change it for me. I was grateful.

Here is a timeline:October 2021: Size me for engagement ringOctober 2021: Fiance orders engagement ring with size: 5 3/4.December 2021: Comes back to Traditions after getting engaged. Size ordered is 4 3/4. Gets resized to what we believe is 5 3/4. Still felt big, so I ordered spacers and went with it.August 2022 1st time: Fiance goes in to order matching wedding band. Told us that they do not have a way to look up order history for my size.August 2022 2nd time: We both go in to finally order matching wedding after getting sized. Good good thing we came back for me to be sized since they could not pull up order histories. New associate assisting us this time and looks up order history. Turns out my engagement ring was resized to a 7.October 2022: Picks up wedding band. Correct size. Associate wants to see my engagement ring so we asked her if it can be resized. Said to return on Friday after she asks if it can be resized (again) for free since it was already resized once. We will see..

Traditions did a wonderful job making the situation right! My ring looks beautiful and better than it has in a long time. Each person we spoke with was respectful & helpful.We took in my engagement ring (not purchased at Traditions) for a repair and stone replacement. After receiving the ring back, I realized the repair had not actually been completed. After a follow-up visit, they took the ring again to look into the previous repair, as well as a couple other things. After a few phones calls and another visit, we are satisfied to have everything complete on the ring and looking great!My deduction of 1 star is due to the communication issues we experienced, which as a consumer I just would want to be made aware of as I consider my options for ring repair. Over the course of 3 visits, we had discussions about the repair that needed to be made; not until the last visit were we on the same page about what the original repair was. Between information being inputted into their computer system and what was hand written & diagrammed on the envelope they keep the ring in, none of the information was easy for another employee to read or decipher. A couple of occasions phone calls were not returned as had been stated, which resulted in us having to call and talk to multiple people, as well as one in-store visit. My hope would be the store would find a way to ensure that communication between client & jeweler is clear, items are being documented the same on intake, that they are being thoroughly being examined by those intaking the ring as well as the jeweler making the repair, and that notes are easily read and understood by any employee.Otherwise Traditions would have a 5 star review for their friendly staff, and their care & patience with me as a customer! I very, very much appreciate them taking the time to make the situation right and that in the end we have a beautiful ring to show for it!
