I have a diabetic dog that requires two syringes a day, and in SC you don't need a prescription for them and I pick up his insulin there and have been buying them there together for a few months now. Today I went to pick up the pair and flat out refused for the syringes to administer the insulin.its never been a problem until this morning when they pharmacist said needles were to be sold at his discretion and will not sell them to us without a prescription. He said he knows how to do his job and made us look like drug addicts in front of other people in the line. I was so embarrassed and bought the insulin and left and got the syringes at Walmart without a problem. I was just trying to save money buying them at the pharmacy because the vet wants triple the price. After we left he called the vet from the insulin prescription we get there and told them we were trying to buy syringes. My vet called and said she would get a prescription but it was definitely odd since you didn't need a prescription for them and not only do I get insulin I also have prescriptions for a blood glucose monitoring system at CVS too. How embarrassing, he also said he was writing a report on the person who sold them to us before. The woman who was wonderful and treated us so nice all the time. I feel so bad for her when she did absolutely nothing wrong and one of CVS s best employees. He came out with investigation papers on this person and trying to find out when she sold us needles before in front of the five people in line and had his voice high enough so everyone could hear so I had to raise my voice so people in the line could understand that I was getting needles for a dog. Unacceptable behavior by this guy in this situation.

Not friendly, very slow with no concern of anyone else's time at thr pharmacy. Girl at the counter wiping her nose with her hand as shes helping. They don't even look up at their customers. Very unprofessional. Everyone in this store looks miserable

What an awesome staff. They are diligent and caring. It is difficult to reach them via telephone. Please increase the staffing. The lines are extremely long.

I placed an online order to pick up in store. An item was canceled because it was in stock. As I was asking the cashier if it would be possible to substitute the item that was not in stock for another item from the same brand at the same price, she continuously interrupted me. She told me that she was the one that fulfilled the order (I didn’t ask that information), she told me that it was an online order (I’m fully aware of how I purchased the items), she told me that there were no other items from the same brand at the same price. I went and grabbed an item off the shelf that was from the same brand, at the same price. Now I do understand that I would need to choose the substitution option in the future when placing these orders. The lack of patience, kindness, and simple customer service has me reconsidering using this location.

Long wait times 30 mins. Prescriptions not filled (3 trips to pharmacy to get all medication). Entire staff leaves for lunch at the same time leaving the pharmacy closed for an hour during the middle of the day. (1pm to 2pm)

Recently returned to CVS after many years with a different pharmacy due to insurance regulations (but use a discount card instead because Rx costs less). This brought back painful memories of why I moved my business from CVS in the first place!
There is no such thing as a simple, one trip Rx transaction - EVER. As another consumer reported, I called to inquire if my order was complete and was told yes. Not true! My doctor transmitted my prescriptions on a Thursday and after 5 different trips, later today, being the following Tuesday, I still do not have everything I need before I must travel out of state to care for my elderly father for a month! CVS solution: Call a CVS located where I will be going.
While I tried my best during telephone calls and in person with our Loris CVS to be kind, pleasant & treat him/her as I would like to be treated, I was met with smugness, monotone practiced speeches of their “new rules” etc and not one ounce of empathy or recognition of me as a person. A person that contributes to their paycheck no less!!
The female pharmacist came to the window & I inquired if they had a pamphlet or brochure covering “CVS Simple Filling of Prescriptions for Dummies 101”? (This was the nicest thing I could come up with at that moment.)
She informed me that they did not, but there was a toll free number I could call and “there are other CVS pharmacies”.
To whomever that owns or operates this CVS location, please understand there are DIFFERENT pharmacies that I will happily return to where I am treated with the kind respect I give them and they will appreciate my business.
I cannot recommend using this CVS for your prescription needs.

Never ever will I use this pharmacy anywhere!! Rude staff , no respect for patients and surly no patient care at all! Phone was answered and put on hold 19 minutes but was answered when i called from my job at doctor office so calls must be scanned and couldn’t get a major medication due to mt local pharmacy didn’t have for a month and after working all day with the pharmacy I was still turned down getting meds after being told I could earlier that day . They have no clue what they are doing because I work health care 20 years so stick with your local pharmacy like I do at least they care for their patients!!!!!!!

Visiting pharmacy on afternoon of 7/13/24, was a pleasant experience. Staff were very polite and professional, with a focus on getting customers taken care of as efficiently and as quickly as possible. In particular, pharmacist, Mr. Inman was as always, very helpful and friendly. CVS is blessed to have such individuals in their employ!

Horrible store. Filthy dirty. Never enough staff. Pharmacy drive thru permanently closed. I’ve stood in my last ten person deep line at their pharmacy. What a joke.

Waited there at CVS for forever. Employees are doing absolutely nothing. Tried calling, was on hold for over 35 minutes. Ended up hanging up. Anyone who leaves a good review is either a robot or works here.

The pharmacy at Loris, SC location is awesome. They are attentive, caring, and very knowledgeable. You get that 101 customer service experience. They never rush me along and every time I leave I know I’m in good hands. this is the best pharmacy ever!!!!!!

CVS had everything I needed. It was clean and the cashier was so pleasant that we had a great laugh. Love this store
