I’m visiting the area and came in to Daniels Hardware & Building Supply with a problem. They helped me find a solution and implement it. Very reasonable prices. Incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and friendly employees. I wish I had a store half as nice as Daniels near my home!

Moved to summerton 3 yrs. Ago after a horrible accident and found Daniels. Not only are they helpful, friendly, and knowledgable, but very well stocked for all building, remodeling and general household repair needs. Fair priced and great hours. Use Daniels before you go all the way to Sumter to get the same thing at a higher price and rude service! Thank you Daniels for above and beyond service excelence!

The owner here at Daniel's Hardware is a very rude man. Wouldn't accept my return of merchandise purchased today. Was not courteous at all!!! Don'tWaste your time and money here. Will not come back!

I have been buying hardware, building materials, and lumber at Daniels hardware in Manning SC for over a year. They are the closest to my location, although I also patronize Ace in Manning and Lowes in Sumter. I have found them (Daniels) very helpful, and if you explain what you are trying to do, they will offer helpful suggestions. On lumber quality, theirs is far better than Lowes, so there is no need for you to hand pick. Just look at the pieces as they are being loaded for you, and if you find one wanting, they will get you another. I would much rather pay a small amount more for premium lumber, than try and sort through all the dreck on Lowes shelves to find something useful. If they don't have something, they will suggest where else you might try. If they had a bigger store, more complete selection, I would give them a perfect score. I always try them first, and the people are very helpful, if you just ask.

You "should" get what you pay for. Well her at Daniels lumber in manning the owner says you buy and HE picks the lumber. You get no say so in quality or pick because according to him they all "meet the grade". Terrible attitude from the owner and staff. Will never be supporting this particular small town store and will from now on drive the extra distance to sumter for better quality service at Lowe's.

Ever hear dumber than a box of rocks? I'm broken down making calls to find a tool to fix a problem and they seriously said 5 times they don't know if they have a pipe of the size we needed and that we need to drive 12 miles to them to look for it ourselves. Bo-dunk idiots! Thanks for the help, hope you are stranded some day and you phone someone who could care less! NO STARS FOR DANIELS HARDWARE!
