Never have had any issues with packages or my mail. Very quick& easy if you ever need to go in and ship anything. Would just recommend buying the shipping boxes/packages from Walmart beforehand

Worst post office ever. I went in to purchase a box to send to Florida to get my sons cell phone left at a gas station coming off of a cruise. The older African American male asked me my zipcode. I gave it. He says you live in Latta. I told him I live on the border of both but have a Latta address and we are in Marion County. He proceeds to tell me that I should call them and text or email a picture of my address to them. He even mentioned to cashapp them. Really a random person working at a gas station I’m going to send them money? I said Sir I gave them the address and they keep copying it wrong somehow. They barely pick up the phone . I’m lucky if I get them. He proceeds to tell me well maybe you haven’t received it because you are confusing them telling them you live in Marion County. I told him Sir I just gave them the address . He continues to tell me what he think the problem is and I am 20 steps ahead of him. So I told him I want to mail a box and get the phone. He says you’ll have to pay about $30.00 I said ok. Turns out when he rang it up it was $10.00 He proceeds to get me a box and two labels and was like you have to fill both of these labels out and give them to me….mind you I can read well. So I starting filling them out he says not here We are about to go to lunch. I’m like you can’t ring me up and I feel out these right quick he’s like that guy is going into overtime. No customer service at all. Why give people jobs dealing with the public when you don’t wanna work them.Customer is always right. It would’ve only taken a second. Also I got on there well enough time he was just going back and forth because he was ready to go to lunch. Save yourself the time and go elsewhere. Once I get the corporate number I will Be calling.

The post office itself is usually very efficient and they do their best to get people moving through the line. However, some of the drivers do a very slack job. They often overstuff my mailbox with packages, because they don't want to bring them up to the house. They have done this to the point that they broke my flag off from the inside. They also bent my mailbox when they hit it with their car. I reported it to the post office, but they offered no help and certainly not a new mailbox. I had to do the repairs. Lots of times if I put something to go out, they will not pick it up. If I really want to be sure to send a letter out, I have to drive to town to do that. My neighbors also complain about the service. I also don't like the fact that my mail runs so late. In the winter it's after dark. I know the US mail service has cut back in some places, but that doesn't mean what's left can't be top notch.

50% of the time they refuse to deliver. My home is easily assesible. Yet half of the time I get an email saying "USPS failed to deliver." Noone else UPS, FedEx, contractors have a problem delivering. This intention negligence should be illegal. Deliver the package, do you job, if you don't like it, quit.

Everytime I ordered something I never get it on the day I suppose to. The excuse is the dog. I keep a extra chain on her. Plus she weighs 58 pounds, scary. I get one half of a package then he lie about me wanting to go pick up the rest on tracking. I leave work early to go get it, it's on delivery. Now I've lost hours, and time I can't get back cause the driver decide when I get my stuff. You should fire him! He does it on purpose. He drive in the yard then drive off with me standing there, theft. That's a deserved punch in the face! I'm moving the dog to the far back and want to hear the excuse, cause now it's personal. What's the point of having a job you can fulfill it. Carry doggy treats if dogs the excuse. If someone decides to go postal on that place I'm not gonna be surprised. No one cares there. Marion was on point, now the driver decides who get what. If they lie and bring it back it should be a write up. Who's gonna request to pick it up themselves while looking at the driver?!

Absolute worst post office around. A rural post office that doesn't like delivering down rural roads. They deliver packages whenever they FEEL like it, not when it's supposed to be delivered.
I've had multiple incidents where they claim to have hand delivered a package. Only they didn't, and I get my things 2 or 3 days later.
If you order something even slightly heavy, be prepared to drive all the way to the post office to pick it up. They won't deliver it.

One lady, drives a red small SUV, will NOT drop my packages off! I’ve complained repeatedly but they let her do whatever she wants. She’s more worried about her cell phone and clock out, than she is doing her damn job!

Just moved to Marion. They don't deliver to your house, which is what I'm used to. At first, the woman there said they don't hold packages, but it was there after all. They had me sign paperwork informing me that this was my "grace package", and that no more will be held for me until I get a mailbox across the (busy) street from my house. I'm sure going to miss having packages delivered to my door like my old house that is not in Marion.

Almost every single package we get delivered has been torn open, this has been happening for some time. This is a felony and I'm documenting with photo's to report it if it doesn't stop.

Marion County post office continues to hire people for rural routes who don't want to go down rural roads. Older people who cannot travel easily anymore cannot get their packages. My mom orders her medical supplies and sometimes she doesn't have the option to use a better delivery system. Every time, I have to take off from work to argue with this post office because their drivers do not want to go down her dirt road. Why take the route if you don't want to drive down a dirt road? And why put "door wasn't available"? It was, you're lazy because it won't fit in the mailbox. This has been happening for months. I'm assuming this is how sorry the post office is these days in Marion, SC.
