My Tahoe transmission went out and I had it towed late Tuesday afternoon. By the next Monday, I had it back with a rebuilt transmission/warranty coverage— which is huge to me. They found more things wrong with it and replaced at fair price. Feels like driving a new car and all the random noises have stopped now LOL. The lady that answers the phone is SO NICE and very helpful. I would recommend them for sure.

They were able to pinpoint exactly where my problem was coming from. A few other places were going to charge me three times more and didn’t properly diagnose the problem. I have an older model impala and it’s riding very smooth now.

Advanced Transmissions was recommended by Japanese Auto Specialists, a local Greenville auto service shop I have been going to for over 20 years and who I trust implicitly. I was blown away by how friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable they are. They promised to complete the work in three days and finished it in less than two. The dealer told me I needed a new trans but Advanced determined that it was only the torque converter that needed replacement, based on my symptoms, and saved me thousands. I have 130k miles and now it runs like new again. Thank you To Kelley and the Advanced Transmissions team. Great people.

Took my car in on a Tuesday, got it back by Friday (was ready Thursday but couldn’t make it in time) all staff was very knowledgeable and friendly throughout the entire process. Trans had been making a noise since March but I wasn’t aware that’s where it was coming from. My normal place found out it was coming from the transmission and advised me to have it looked at. I called one other place that had a two week turn around and we had a trip coming up soon. My grandfather recommended Advance Transmission and we called for quotes for worst case scenario as well as turn around time. Also reading others reviews made the decision a no brainer. Super pleased with communication, friendliness, professionalism. Even got to have my old center bearing as a souvenir! The car has been running so smooth and I am so pleased! They will have all my transmission business and I will be singing their praises! Thanks again guys, and Kelly!!

Had my car towed here after another auto shop immediately recognized my troubles as transmission related. They were excellent! Highly communicative, honest, and a total replacement only took about 2 days. Impressive! They really know their stuff, and every single employee I spoke to was so kind throughout the entire process and happily answered any question I had. Great service! The transmission blew on my 2019 Hyundai Tucson on 5/3 and I got it towed here. It’s under warranty and I gave Kelly the information and she worked with them directly to submit a claim. She called me on 5/10 and told me what was being covered and what I owed. I told her to order the new part and said 7-10 days for delivery. On 5/22 I called to check-in and she said it had been ready and that she tried calling me (I never got a call or VM so I’m not sure where the disconnect was since she had called me before). So I picked it up on 5/24. The check engine light came on the next day so on Tuesday I brought it back by and they checked it out and reset it. It’s been running great.
For comparison, my engine blew in the end of Nov and had it towed to a small shop. The owner said if my warranty claim was approved he wouldn’t be able to get to it until after Christmas. On 2/6 he called and said it was approved and ordered the engine. I picked it up on 2/17. So all is all, my car was in the shop for 3 months. The turnaround time that Advanced Transmissions had was shocking and appreciated. Def recommend!

I highly recommend this shop. I can in because my car was struggling and slipping when going from 1st to 2nd gear. They could have charged me for a whole new transmission for thousands of dollars; however, they were very very honest. My car was giving no codes and when they drop the pan they could see nothing wrong. Instead of a new transmission for a few, thousand dollars, they recommended a transmission service for a few hundred. My car is running smoother than it has in some time now. Their honesty and morality is so valued. I recommend them very very much

Top notch service from beginning to end! Way to go Advance Transmissions! My sincere gratitude for replacing a transmission, that 3 other places, said it couldn't be done. I could not be any happier from customer service on the front end to the auto specialists who worked on the car. I would recommend Advanced Transmissions to anyone.

3.12.24 I had just blown a tire and was riding the rim hard looking for a tire store. It got so bad I pulled into Advanced Transmissions to see if they had a air hose to blow the tire up to get to a tire store a mile away. Devlin came out, looked at the tire, saw it was beyond help, jacked up the car and replaced the tire with the spare. I thanked him and handed him $50 bucks. The $50 dollars was in his hand, and he handed it back to me. I have never had transmission problems with my but if I had to recommend a business for anyone: Advanced Transmissions is the one I would tell you to take your car to. Class act employee/owner speaks to the quality of the business.
