My daughter started out in the infant room when she was 9 months old and she is now 6 and still attends the after school program. I don’t even know where to begin to describe these beautiful women who have been a HUGE part of our lives and have played an instrumental part in her education and who she is as a person. Mrs. April and Mrs. Hailey really and truly care about the children in their center. I feel they have truly built a community and family with the children as well as the parents. My daughter has a dairy intolerance and they have made it their priority since day one in protecting her from exposure. My daughter actually begs me to pick her up later in the afternoons to be able to spend more time with Miss Logan/Mrs. Allie and her friends. I would recommend this specific location to any mother or father looking for care for their children.

We would be lost without the Sunshine House!
If you're searching for a daycare, this is one you absolutely need to tour. Finding this place was truly a stroke of luck for us. The teachers are incredible, the curriculum is excellent, and their standards for cleanliness, record-keeping, and overall positive atmosphere are outstanding.
We actually drive past at least five other daycares to get to this one because it truly is the best. April, Hailey, and all the teachers are fantastic. I will be so sad when my littles outgrow this school!

Both of my kiddos started at Sunshine House at 10 weeks old. My daughter is now 7 and my son is 3 and still attending their facility. We had not had any major issues with them. I’ve always felt confident my children have been safe and in good hands here. They do their best to remain open when schools shut down which is very helpful for a working mom. The director, April, is involved and interacts with the kids. I would recommend this day care to friends and family.

My child is only 2 and knows all of his colors, shapes, animals, can count to 15 and anything you can think of a preschool or kindergartener to do he can do and it’s because of this place! He has been going there since he was 8 weeks old. Truly an early learning center they take the time to teach the kids everyday and I get photos and details hourly sometimes more! Makes me feel good to be able to trust someone to leave with my kiddo because I’m a single mom that’s lives away from our extended family. I trust Miss Haley and Miss April to make the best decisions for my child while I’m at work.

I will ALWAYS recommend this center to anyone! Our first experience at another daycare was so traumatizing that I almost did not want to put my son back into daycare. Once we transitioned to the Sunshine House it has been nothing but AMAZING. I would give 10 stars if I could! They are like family in each classroom he goes to. I never have a worry in my mind while he is in their care. Extremely detailed about their daily activities, lesson plans, and the teachers always go above and beyond. They truly care for our children. We love the sunshine house!!!

Not a good daycare to send your child. Does not follow their own rules and regulations and yells, shoves, and pulls at children. My son attended this daycare (who is non verbal in speech therapy) they would yell at my son and shove him around the classroom. The administrators are no better. My son can only drink soy milk and is highly allergic to pineapples. This was all told to them with paperwork from his doctor before he even started. Because the milk was not listed as an allergy even though the pineapples were, they gave him 1% milk and pineapples without my knowledge. Didn’t even tell me his paperwork was denied just took it upon themselves to give him what they felt he should have. I only caught this because I went to get my son early one day and saw he had a 1% milk carton in front of him during snack time. Before he started, I told them any milk other than soy has him constipated. When I addressed it, they put my son out of daycare for one week until the paperwork from his doctor was filled out again for a second time. I also told them giving him the wrong milk has lead to him being put on constipation medication from his doctor. Oh boy they got scared then. As stated they told me to “hold off” on attendance until the paperwork was sent in again. Then they went around asking if anyone in the daycare has seen my son eat pineapples? Why on earth would he be given pineapples when I told you he is highly allergic??!!?! I know they gave him pineapples and I have no way to prove it. I was having some issues with the abc voucher and called to get my son removed until it worked out. I told the admin to hold off until Friday before she gave up his spot as I was trying to get his paperwork pushed through which she agreed. I talked to her on a Tuesday morning, immediately after we hung up she called parents and gave my sons spot away. I know this is because the issue I had with them about the milk and pineapples. I will NOT send my son back to this facility as long as it is ran by the two women currently running operations for this center. The one with the dark hair is so rude and nasty. She’ll put this look of not caring on her face (that’s why my son slap the taste out your mouth) but I can guarantee you her children and the others one grandchild that attends the center gets their nutrition paperwork followed to the t if they have any issues. I explained to them numerous times my son is an only child that does not talk. They’re used to treating kids any kind of way and not being corrected on it. I’m a mother that cares and my child’s life and food safety is nothing to play around with. I can only speak for the explorer 1 class my son was in. I am not aware of how any other teachers are with kids at this center. They do have cameras but no camera access for parents to view after leaving, wonder why?

My daughter has attended Sunshine House since she was 8 weeks. The teachers and staff are truely loving and caring. They take care of her, keep me informed, and i always trust my daughter is in good hands when i leave her there. Also, diapers, wipes, food, and formula are included in the price i pay. Who can beat that? Highly recommended.

My daughter has been going here since she was 18 months old and will be 5 in November. I have loved them since day one and so has she. She is excited to wake up and go to school every morning and that makes it so much easier on me. The staff and management are always there to answer any questions and are so helpful. I wouldn’t want her in any other school!

My husband and I feel truly blessed to have found this place. Our little one is now 22 months and started in July 2018 and he LOVES the staff there. We watched his personality blossom since he started. There is just so much love and fun that the staff brings to work everyday. Miss April, the center director is so joyful and pays attention to both the children and the parents. This our third daycare experience for our little, and by far the best one.

My son has been going there 6mths and we absolutely love it! I looked into several places before I choose this one. And i choose this Sunshine house because the director was so warm and welcoming. She has been a huge help in my son transition from being at home with family to being in a school setting. He loves all the teachers not just his teacher. It takes us forever to leave when I pick him up because he has to say bye and give all the teachers he sees a hug.I'm so grateful for all of them. Not only did they make it easy for him but for me also seeing how none of my children have ever had to be in a daycare. They are truly amazing and treat us like family. We love all of them on E Butler Rd!!Thank you ladies!!!
