Went to the Living History Independence day here. Actors showed what life was like on the Plantation during the 1850's. Had a general store, cotton gin, barns, blacksmith, kitchen house, carpentry barn, living quarters, etc. Enjoyed.

Strolling the grounds with a great guide map that had information about all the things to see is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. The animals were a happy surprise for our 6yo too! Don’t rush through, take your time and soak up the ambiance of a time gone by :)

Wow! Amazing! The people are so great at their jobs and very friendly. Gorgeous old buildings. I'm so impressed with the condition of the homes and I've seen TONS of historic houses. The admission price is for a good cause. Great place to go. So many architecturally unique buildings.
