Willington Bookshop is a wonderful treasure and a gem located within restored brick buildings in Historic Willington. This non-profit shop, along with a curiosity shop and museum, supports the local History Center. Visitors can browse over 40,000 preloved books across three different buildings, finding old favorites, hidden treasures, and modern fiction, nonfiction, fantasy, sci-fi, and mystery. Most books cost between fifty cents and five dollars, with many priced at one dollar. The friendly, knowledgeable, and delightful volunteers create a pleasant and peaceful experience. Guests are encouraged to slow down, meet wonderful people, and take in the plethora of history. It is an amazing community resource where proceeds go to charity, and many plan to spend hours or return for another visit.

This place is amazing. I have gotten historical fiction books, nonfiction books, and children’s books for a bargain! The volunteers are so helpful, too.
