I have always found knowledgeable and friendly plant professionals here. The staff has been honest and helpful in all regards. I only see plants here that are appropriate for our growing climate. They can help you with "one-off" plants, the big box stores don't carry or aren't aware of.

I love coming here when we are on vacation. I always buy stuff in the area where the merchant sell their own things. For example: food, hand tiles, birdhouses, pillows, soaps, etc. Love this place!!!

I hate this place. Every single time I come here the post office is the worst experience. Today, I’m by myself with my toddler and it was exactly 11:00. She would not scan my pre packaged boxes because they closed for lunch at 11 to 1130. I said I have my toddler we made it all the way inside here can you please scan them and she refused. Do not come here. Worth the drive to the other post office. I wish I got her name but she was an older lady with short grey hair.Edit - I keep return it because I so want to love and support this place but they make it impossible.

The Old Red Truck intrigued me initially, particularly with the US post office. There is a new local vendor, Mount Pleasant Endeavors, that offers high-quality fabrics, wallpaper and accessories, plus works from local artists. I had two low bookcases that could be turned into additional seating with cushions. A custom job, Emily and I considered several fabrics (active grandchildren) and I was able to take home samples. I was impressed with Emily's passion for fabrics and the depth of her knowledge. There was a wide selection in her portfolio. The result is simply stunning. It matches my home's "vibe".

I wanted to love this place. I like doing business with smaller, independently owned businesses. I've been there a few times and on my most recent visit I purchased 4 mums. I got 2 yellow and 2 burgundy. I put one yellow and one burgundy in the front of my house and did the same in the back of my house with a yellow and burgundy. The yellow ones did well and the burgundy ones did not. I even transplanted the burgundy ones into another container to try and help them. I've been buying mums for 40 years and have never had to transplant them before. After two weeks of working with these flowers I went to the store with pictures of my thriving beautiful yellow mums and pictures of my mostly dead burgundy mums. I wanted to try and figure out what happened with them and hoped they would offer to replace, refund or give me store credit. None of that happened. A woman that works in the garden area came to speak with me. I tried to explain the situation, but she didn't want to hear any of it. She asked me no questions. When I tried to show her some of the photos she indicated that it was my fault. I never got to show her the yellow mums. After talking with me for a little over a minute she abruptly turned and walked away from me. I stood there stunned. The worst part of this was the way I was disrespectfully treated. I walked out feeling sad and disappointed. Yes, I paid for 2 mums that never bloomed and died, but being treated like that was the worst. I will never go there again and will take my business elsewhere.

My go to all around supply and fix it stuff place. The people go above and beyond and 90% of the time they have what I need, even the slightly peculiar things they do well with. Nice to go into a store and not have to spend 45 min looking for a screw in 55 isles.

I’ve lived in Charleston for 35 years and always wanted to stop in here every time I’d pass it going to Awendaw area. Beautiful curbside appeal , which is why it’s not a 1 star. I went in finally a few months back. Staff was very unfriendly except for one young guy that said hello when he passed me. I loved the store so tried not to form an opinion on that visit. Went in again this past Saturday. Very unhelpful staff. Not a single person smiled in there. I had a reason to ask 2 people about an item. One just pointed at a sign without uttering a word. The other had a short response. That was my last visit. Too many other places with friendly staff out there.

Very friendly but limited on ace type of store set up. It's more house fixing stuff vs everything.

You can't help but love this place. It is half the size of any box store yet they always have everything. Yesterday I went in to get a new garbage disposal. They directed me to isle 9. My wife was shopping flowers and came in a few min after me. They greet you and ask how they can help. My wife said she was looking for me and they directed her to isle 9 (even though they don't know me). That's service !
