Awful Customer service - even the manager just talked over you and doesn't even let you get a word in. Let's be honest it's a downgrade from lululemon and I would rather buy from there any day. The clothes are better quality and have customer service is outstanding.

Back to school shopping for the girls. I think they have everything LuLu does, plus a dedicated kids section, and much better prices. (But I’m no expert!)

I went shopping here twice in the past month and I will be switching to online shopping for now. I felt absolutely bombarded by the staff. I declined help over 5 times and still continued to be bombarded. It actually made me very uncomfortable. They were very friendly, but wouldn’t leave me alone. One of the staff even grabbed some clothes out of my hands when I declined help AGAIN. It wasn’t one staff in particular, it was everyone. I appreciate the warmth and hospitality, but some people enjoy a little space while they are shopping.

I absolutely love Athleta and all their clothes. I have been a loyal customer for years. However, after my recent interactions with their store manager I will not be returning. She is always rude and acts as if everything is an inconvenience. She does not greet anyone and is always rude to customers and the employees. I do not recommend this location by any means.

After being a loyal Athleta customer for many years and spending thousands of cumulative dollars at the Mt Pleasant store and online, I can definitively say that after my last experience in store, I will never buy another item from Athleta again. As someone who worked retail locally for 7 years, I cannot imagine declining a loyal customer for a return that is *one day* beyond the return date, for an item that is still being sold for full price on the sales floor. Instead, I would recommend that you support local businesses who value established relationships with clients, rather than corporations who could care less about their customers. Shame on Athleta. The smug, rude checkout associate didn't help, either.

Poor customer service and return policy. I’ve always loved going there for my girls but recently they have become very rude when returning items that don’t fit them.

Totally surprised that there are any bad reviews for this store. I have been shopping here for many years (since they opened!) and find their sales people to be extremely friendly and helpful. The store offers a great selection and my girls love the Athleta Girl section in the back. Just yesterday a girl named Christine helped me and was extremely kind.

The place has changed...for years, Athleta was my go-to store for swim wear I could trust to fit well. Now they don't even carry swim wear in-store??? They also used to have the most amazing return/exchange policy if anything did not hold up, wear well, etc at any time. I brought in a never-worn bikini top I ordered two months ago, and they would not return it OR offer store credit. They said they now have a 60-day return policy. That's fine, but just so different from their previous policy which made Athleta special. I'll also note that the employees were condescending about it. Really sad!!

If I could give no stars I would. I went today to get some new pair of work pants. I did not get greeted or offered any assistance. But every one of the Caucasian race was promptly greeted and informed of promotions. This was extremely disheartening. I am an extremely loyal member of the Gap brand family. I’ll just stick to old navy and gap from now on. Because who wants to feel excluded when simply trying to purchase clothing. Extremely poor customer service. DO NOT GO IF YOU ARE AFRICAN AMERICAN!

Went shopping here for the first time in December 2021. Fantastic experience! Julia assisted me in the dressing room and was phenomenal! Christine the manager was juggling many things at once and was incredibly efficient.It was such a positive shopping experience! I will definitely go back!
