About Destination Gold Bug
Destination Gold Bug provides a beautiful and unique event venue on the Intracoastal Waterway in South Carolina. The location offers amazing views of the Lowcountry, water ways and beaches of Charleston, and a wonderful sundown view of marsh and water. It is reasonably priced perfect for weddings, DIY and events. It is not for member only; anyone can rent the space. Communication with owner was constant and multiple site visits were allowed, keeping the planning process simple. The venue fits a budget and vision, offers a multitude of services and options. Even in rain the tike was wonderful and unaffected by weather, making the day perfect.

What a beautiful event venue! Even in the rain we were able to have a wonderful tike unaffected by the weather. I would highly recommend this place! ❤️ And the fact that Edgar Allen Poe adored the island gives it a special place in my heart!

Shhh! This is our little hidden gem! Great venue for wedding reception and this couple had the ceremony here too.
