*WOMEN DO NOT GO HERE!!!*I was looking at an entertainment center by the door where they bring things out and the man in the picture I attached walked out, stood by the item I was looking at and pretended to take a picture of it. Except he didn't. He was, very poorly, sneaking a picture of a young lady wearing spandex workout gear who was facing away from us.I then saw him pull back behind the entertainment center and proceed to zoom in on the picture he took! It's disgusting that women have to worry about this sort of disgusting behavior while merely shopping.I informed the young lady and management but I'm pretty certain nothing will be done about this.

November 12, 2023Goodwill - Six Mile Rd locationPROS: Really a nice and generally clean store. Most items I feel are in the really good category & good prices.CONS: if you buy an item that they have to load in your vehicle, be sure to supervisor the process as they can be rough on your vehicle and if the item has several parts, count the parts loaded before leaving as there is no returns on furniture items.

All the items they get go in a shipping container. Do not donate to this this store. It does not go back to the community . The “employees” are run through hell by new management and dont get scheduled breaks.

I tried to call the store on 6 mile Road in Mount Pleasant and I called it three different times and no one picked up. It rang about eight times and then went busy. If you have a phone number aren’t you supposed to answer it? Isn’t this a business. Very frustrated. I wanted to ask a specific question about a donation I was going to bring in and there was no one to talk to. That’s terrible. I’m not gonna go to that store and I’m just gonna do something else with my donation.

Small selection of general goods, men's clothing options were small. One of the better Goodwills in the area but still a slim selection.

People complain too much & never say anything nice. Personally, I like to go in there & poke around to help them AND buy miscellaneous things for myself!! People are great & helpful.

The people working in there were kind of rude. How about smile and at least act like you want to be there. Communication with the customers. It goes a long way.

There is a older white woman that wears a straw hat. She steals from all y'all stores in mount pleasant and all those cameras but you won't prosecute her because she is WHITE.

This is the third in the bathroom series. Goodwill on six mile rd in Mt. Pleasant is the location. I had to use the facilities during my morning travels. Again I was pretty shocked at the cleanliness of the restroom. You definitely know you are not in an upscale place, but if you are in a pinch and need a place in a hurry you could do worse.

Disturbed… if I had to choose one word to describe my experience at Palmetto Goodwill Six Mile Rd it would be disturbed. I had boxed up kitchenware and a lot of glassware (wine glasses, water glasses etc), art, paintings in frames and ceramic trinkets. We arrived at the drive thru to an employee that provided no direction. We got out of the car to help and he provided little interaction. I tried to explain and show him which boxes were fragile (I had written in big red ink fragile). He told me they don’t accept boxes (which was news to me bc we were there last week and they gladly accepted our boxes). He then proceeded to PUNCH through the boxes, grab the fragile items and THROW them into a large laundry cart. I’ll admit I was in shock and couldn’t even say anything. All I heard was glass breaking. He threw paintings in the cart at an odd angle and cracked the frames and the glass. I drove away and couldn’t believe what had just happened. Pretty much at least half of what I had donated was broken or damaged. I stopped in the store and asked to speak with the manager who was very kind and apologetic. I would think twice before donating to this location or at least shake the shock off quickly when they start throwing your stuff and ask them to stop.

Waited in line 15 minutes to then find out the flip flop sandals are now considered “shoes” and priced $6.99 no matter what! Make no mistake, they’re trying their best to charge higher and higher prices on 100% donated goods. $$$ business

They didn’t have anything the last time I was there and so I thought I would try them again. Wrong! Still don’t have anything. What they have is broken

Drive thru lane employee pressed his body up against mine on two separate occasions even after I asked him to give me space. Looked at my plastic organization bins from Target and said "this stuff is basically trash to us." Now if I see him working outside I just wait for another day.
