“Michaels on North Highway 17 in Mount Pleasant is one of my favorite places to shop for all things arts and crafts and home items. They have a really good selection of different items here and I have always been able to find exactly what I am looking for. The staff here is very knowledgeable and helpful.”
“Needlepoint.com is a well established industry leader. This is their second shop. The original is in Raleigh. With a strong thread selection and an excellent line of their own canvases, this is one of THE places every needlepointer needs to visit at least once. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel at home. Many of their canvases, including their famous travel round series and Charleston themed pieces, are available with stitch guides. They have kits available as well. There are many kits from their sister company Elizabeth Bradley also available. I loved all their stitched models, which they display in the most amazing, elegant vitrines. This is a great place for both the experienced and the novice stitcher alike.”

Before we arrived in Charleston we spent a week on Kiawah Island with swimming, water slides, beach, yet she said the highlight of her vacation was going to this store!”

“It cult have gotten a 5 star. The store does really have (almost) all of what you ever could have wanted as a crafts person. The lack of the last star is because they had run out of lots of items and it was hard to get an employee to ask - both in the store and at the cashier. A long line build up because of that.
But I will most definitely go there again!!”
