We worked with Kathy at the front desk who was so helpful, kind, and friendly. We had just left another hotel with a bad experience, so meeting Kathy was a Godsend. Our rooms were great. Newly renovated (4th floor) room, with the construction crew on 3rd floor. The noise didn’t bother us because they stopped working at (pm and we were gone during the day. Hilton always has the best mattresses! The breakfast was great and when they ran out of orange juice one of the staff ran to store to buy more. Thank you Kathy for a nice stay.
Rooms: Great newly remodeled room. Great location for shopping.

The hotel is located in a nice area with small shops and restaurants nearby. My first time in this Hilton brand and I enjoyed it. The staff was genial and very helpful with a special request.
One great thing was ceiling fan in the bedroom! I don't like sleeping in air conditioning and the fan was perfect. Good job!
( there is air conditioning in the room)
I didn't like the renovation stuff and the debris but see the reason and it will be good when over!

Poor conditions. Hotel from hell. Do yourself a favor and do not stay at this Hilton. My family had to change rooms 3 times in a week. The rooms were dark and dirty with dead roaches. The 1st room smelled like pet urine. The 2nd room had no hot water. The 3rd room had a pull-out couch where your back touched the springs. I paid $1,000 for 7 nights. Then, the hotel staff tried to sell me more nights. I told them my family won't be staying there again. They said they got many complaints and had to start renovations. A few days later, they told me they would not give me reward points since I wouldn't stay again. I wasn't asking for reward points, so giving me that response was irrelevant and rude. What a hotel nightmare. The only reason why my family stayed was to be within walking distance of my house. I am so disappointed with Hilton.

Great location and the staff is friendly . . The rooms are clean-ish. They are pretty outdated and dingy. The bathrooms don't have fans which kinda gross but they are remodeling, so maybe the new rooms will have that feature

Room was ok. Tub was terrible. Needs to be remodeled for sure. Kept having to ask the front desk to turn up the hot water

This place was under renovations but you’d never know it… the staff was wonderful and the rooms were very clean. I love the coziness! Little details like real glasses mugs plates and dishes make such a difference. I enjoyed my breakfast and coffee in my room early in the morning with warm lights from the lamps and my Cabernet in a wine glass before bed. It’s right on the connector and walking distance to restaurants and grocery stores. Pretty perfect!

We spent one night at this location when checking out the area. We were headed for a week in North Carolina and my fiance always wanted to show me Mount Pleasant. We could not of asked for a better location for us and our two dogs. The rooms are very spacious and dog friendly. The area is also very pet friendly. We were able to walk them right where we stayed. Also, you don't even need to leave the hotel - there is a Harris Teeter and a Target within walking distance! The area and the vibe of this location is amazing. We could not of asked for anything more. The staff was also SUPER friendly and the facility itself was very clean. We will def be back when we come for another visit!

Lovely staff and great breakfast. First time in my life a hotel bed didn't hurt my back! It was not hard as rock like they usually are. Literally close to everything but plenty of room with good parking. Very safe area. Neighborhood feels posh but is actually on par with other hotels in the area for price. You can walk across the street to dining and shops.
They are starting a remodel fall 2024, but truthfully it doesn't need it, decor wise. I think the ac makes a bit too much noise and the bathroom is a bit shabby from regular use, but very clean and nice. I just hope they keep the great beds!

I recently experienced one of THE most unprofessional and inconsiderate incidents with Homewood Suites Mt Pleasant in Charleston SC, and I feel compelled to share my experience in the hope that it will serve as a warning to others. I booked a reservation for 2 nights during Labor Day weekend. I received a confirmation anfter booking on 8/23 and proceeded to check in on 8/30 and received a room number. Upon my arrival, I checked the app and noticed a red message where the digital key would be stating that I need to see the front desk.
We arrived after a 2 hour drive and went to the front desk only to be informed our reservation was cancelled by the hotel. We received no phone call to notify us of this cancellation prior to the day we were supposed to check in. The front desk was unapologetic and unhelpful and when I asked for a manager I was told there was no manager onsite. I called Hilton Rewards and they informed me my reservation was active and the check in was active and asked me to give them a minute to reach out to the hotel. After a few minutes I was informed the hotel was overbooked and there was nothing they could do. My husband and I weee standing in the lobby with all of our luggage a couple hundred miles from home and nowhere to stay. This notification was both surprising and highly inconvenient, given that we had dinner reservations to celebrate my birthday and our 32nd anniversary. The abrupt nature of this information caused considerable disruption to our plans and left us feeling quite unsettled.
The staff at the front desk, was not courteous and demonstrated no desire to resolve the situation.
I fully recognize that unforeseen circumstances can sometimes arise in the hospitality industry. However, it was particularly disappointing to encounter such an issue after I had already been checked. This incident underscores the importance of clear communication and the need for more proactive measures to prevent similar situations from occurring in the future.
I am currently undergoing treatment for cancer and this is an off chemo week so this time is very valuable to me and my family.
I hope that Homewood Suites takes this feedback constructively and implements the necessary improvements to enhance the overall guest experience.

Terrible experience here. We had high hopes based on the positive reviews but that wasn't the case for us. We booked multiple rooms for a family vacation to Isle of Palms. Every room was FILTHY. Every chair had huge brown stains that were so gross so we had to put towels down to sit. The extra pillows for the pull out couch clearly hadn't been washed based on the smell on them!! Every room smelled like mold, and then we DID find mold on the walls!!! The breakfast was terrible (that is, if you could find plates and silverware). The pool was FULL of leaves, grass, and human hair!!!!!! Like, my father in law had long black human hair on his skin!!! Absolutely disgusting! We ended up leaving early but of course no credit or refund even after complaining. We'll never come back.
