This campground is officially my favorite. Everybody was so nice and pleasant to deal with. The cabin itself was very clean and had everything we needed for our little get away. We got there Friday night and were very happy to learn it was taco night. We didn't have to cook, especially after being on highway 26 FOREVER. The activities director (I believe that was her position), Jen, was such a pleasure to be around. We met her little girl at the pool and she too was such a doll. She even taught me the alphabet in sign language while we were in the pool. I really enjoyed listening to her tell me all the things she enjoyed about this campground! Saturday, we did the plantation tour and had a blast. Then we went to candy bar bingo!! Yes, candy bar bingo. Sunday was pancake/sausage breakfast. Again, no cooking. So much to do and enjoy here. Can't wait to return

First time we rented a RV from a local dealer. We had to recharge the propane tank and drain the tanks. I have never done that before. So there guy came out took his time explaining everything to us, and got us through it. If didn't live in brickyard we would have stayed here. Very clean place. The staff is so helpful and nice. I would give them a perfect 10 stars if it was possible. Thank y'all

We have stayed at many KOA's over the last seven years. This was one of the best. Friendly and accommodating staff, beautiful location, many activities, and close to Charleston. Very well run campground and we will definitely return. We stayed 9 days at the end of February 2024.

My family and I stayed at Mount Pleasant / Charleston KOA in June 2023 in our travel trailer. We enjoyed this KOA so much that we changed our travel plans to stay an additional night. The grounds are well kept, pool is fun, lots of outdoor activities, the coordinated kids activities are top notch, staff is so friendly, laundry facility was small but adequate and very clean. We hope to visit again!!Nearby activities: We spent an afternoon exploring USS Yorktown and would recommend it for all ages! Great educational displays.Food & drinks: We enjoyed a pancake breakfast at the campground and ordered take-out pizza from Mellow Mushroom down the street one evening for dinner. I would recommend both!

Stayed here with my husband and my parents for 4 days. Me and my husband had a tent site, while they had their camper.Pros-Lots of activitiesClean facilitiesFriendly staffFood/Grocery less than 5 minutes awayBeach 15 minutes awayCons-We were originally planning on setting up a tent in the truck bed, so we could all be together, but i guess you cant set up tents near campers. (Im not upset over this, i know they have rules, just seemed a little silly) So we ended up having to buy a tent site-Pool is a little on the small side, for a while it was hard to enjoy because all the teenagers were taking up the space. Wish they would have been more on top of that.-WIFI was not working, and data signal was minimal.-Not many adult activities.I realize this campground is geared more towards families, so i dont hold it against them, not everyone has children though.

This place and the people are amazing. We loved the big dog park and the concrete pads. It was very nice to have a table, chairs, and fire pit at your site. Bonus was the swings by the water. Plenty of activities. They also had a pasta night for five dollars, which included garlic bread and dessert. We were there New Year's Eve and enjoyed the awesome fireworks.

A great place to stay for a beach get away. A short drive to IOP public beach access and much less expensive than ocean front accommodations. Pup friendly.

This place is the worst, STAY SOME WHERE ELSE! Made reservations for site with full hookups. We were told when we arrived, we did not! We were taken to a site in the back of the campground where they should have been parking abandoned cars. Our site was covered by surface magnolia tree roots the size of a black water hose. My wife spoke to the assistant manager, who was a real disrespectful jerk. The site we were first given was $97. We upgraded to full hookups for $130. But the new spot also had ankle breaking roots.NOT WORTH THE HASSLE OR THE COST!

We booked extra days here because it was so beautiful although the price was very high. Supply and demand....they must get away with it because it was very busy. Sites were fairly roomy and staff was accommodating and helpful. Loved the trails around the park and the views of the lake, lots of waterfowl and critters that approach the sites.
