My Son went here because he had a couple sores that wouldn't heal. They wrote him a script for antibiotics but didn't do a wound culture. With a history doing jiu jitsu I was surprised by this when his Mom told me. I worked in a lab. We always did a culture when we gave antibiotics. I was worried about MRSA since he is on dirty wrestling mats. I told his Mom to take him back in to get a culture just in case. Sure enough the culture came back as MRSA. The results were in the portal the night before but they didn't bother to call until the next day and they charged us for a second visit. This is ridiculous. My son's mom took also took her mom here for stroke symptoms and they misdiagnosed it as vertigo. Luckily she went to the ER to get a second opinion and she had in fact had a stroke. I would avoid this place, especially for anything serious. Dr Finch, shame on you. You should know better.

Outstanding! Been there twice now for myself and then for my 5 yr old who was a walk in. The staff is so friendly and the place is spotless. I've not had to wait very long at all. My daughter who was very ill today came in and they let her lie down and turned out the lights for her while she was waiting in the lobby. Such kind folks and a stark contrast to others I've tried in the area. It's now my go to!

Patrick, the phlebotomist, has always performed my blood work for nursing school going on my 2nd year now. He is incredibly kind, respectful, informative, and PAINLESS with his blood draws. I request him for my visits for those exact reasons! Ms. Dorcas at the front desk is also very kind & welcoming. I couldn’t recommend Sea Island Medical more! You guys rock!!!

We had such a pleasant experience at Sea Island Medical Care on 17 in Mt.P for an allergic reaction my husband was having today. The entire staff from front desk, nurse to doctor was so kind, caring and empathetic. The medical professionals were very thorough with an excellent standard of care. We were recommended here by a friend who is a doctor and this will definitely be our go to office for medical care in the future.

Thought I'd escaped the POLLENITIS, but boy was I wrong! Got myself to Sea Island Urgent Care on 41 yesterday, where they tested me for flu, covid, strep, etc. Turns out, just pollen. Relieved, but I followed all the PA's' advice/recommendations after returning home. Wonder of wonders, I slept thru the night and woke up not well, but better. You are all angels in scrubs!A million thanks.

Sea Island Medical always goes above and beyond for my needs. I came in over summer and had to come back over winter break, and the front desk personnel remembered me by name. The front desk personnel is efficient, kind, and so helpful. Everyone is so considerate and does their job extremely well. I highly recommend Sea Island Medical to anyone!

That's exactly what I experienced when visiting Sea Island Medical Care - top-notch clinic with an environment filled with compassion. From my initial phone call through to seeing their PA Bill, everyone was professional and warm; even during checkout there were genuine smiles on every face! The medical assessment went above & beyond expectations and medications were administered right away – it truly set this urgent clinic apart from any other I've visited before. A real gold standard experience indeed!

I rarely write Google reviews for companies, and do so only when a company has delivered incredibly good or incredibly poor service. Sea Island Medical Care (the location on SC-41 in Mount Pleasant) was phenomenal; they delivered incredibly good service. They saw me quickly and the process from start to finish was professional and efficient. The medical assessment was thorough and reassuring; they were also friendly which is a welcome feeling for patients. They provided immediate medication service (ie, rapidly submitted a prescription). This medical facility is the gold-standard for urgent care. I would invest in them as a company and would not be surprised if they are able to profitably expand widely, as long as they maintain the same level of training and retain the top-talent currently employed. This is a true gem in the Mount Pleasant community!

This place is full of the kindest people you will find in a doctors’ office. They truly make you feel cared for especially when you are unwell. Additionally they are great with kids and can somehow make them smile even when about to get a covid test.The level of care you get here is far more personal, professional, and caring than any other urgent care I have been to. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and was happy to learn they also do primary care!They also have a convenient check in system you can do on your phone which was a nice perk.

Sea Island Medical Care is the most professional and customer service focused medical facility I’ve ever used. I utilize them for all of my general medical needs including regular physicals and urgent care. The entire staff is always friendly and attentive to my needs. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for professional medical care!

My child's pediatrician's office was booked solid because of flu-gate 2022, and he really needed to be seen. I also had a very small window of opportunity in which to take him. He has been seen at Sea Island before for covid testing, and they've always been prompt and very kind, so I packed up my laptop for work and off we went - figuring it would be hours of waiting (again, flu-gate.) We were greeted by a friendly man at the front desk who told me the usual person that worked there was out, and to bear with him. He got us checked in and told us there'd be about an hour wait - which I was prepared for. He kept checking in with those in the waiting room to make sure everyone had what they needed - coffee, water, etc. - and that all were comfortable. He also kept updating folks on how much longer of a wait they had. Within 10 minutes of sitting down, we were called back to be seen! The triage nurse was so pleasant; he was laughing and joking with my son, who was obviously not feeling his best. We had strep, flu, and covid tests done within minutes and then the doctor came in to examine him. Said his money was on the flu (mine was, too!) and that we'd have to wait about 10 minutes for the test results. Within 10 minutes, we got the results, Rx was sent to our pharmacy, and we were on our way! I wish all medical offices were run as efficiently as Sea Island. I will NOT hesitate to visit again. We have lots of other urgent care options closer to us in Belle Hall, but will be making the trip to Sea Island moving forward. Such nice folks, super accommodating, fast, knowledgeable, efficient. Our pediatrician's office could learn a thing or two from them! Thank you, Sea Island!
