I gave this property 5 stars based on what I normally expect from the Hampton Inn brand. The property was very recently renovated and looks fantastic relative to most other Hampton Inn hotels. It is clean and tidy. I have stayed here once per year almost since it originally opened! It has always been very well run with a great staff and management team. What I like about the location is that it is set back from the road so it is quiet. There is a Carrabas across the street and a Food Lion just around the corner. It is my favorite Hampton Inn in the US and only got better this year!

The staff that checked me in was friendly and helpful. Check in was seamless I was ready to relax in no time lol there's a restaurant in walking distance. It was late when I made it in so not sure what else was around....

Once again Hampton Inn never misses! The rooms are clean and huge with plenty of counter space in the bathroom.

I have to say that as this was my first Hampton Inn experience, it wasn’t bad at all.
I especially liked the breakfast. Good waffles.

During our vacation, we had plans for what we would do. But in the end, my hubby wasn’t ready to go home yet, so we traveled more without a plan. We stayed at this hotel on short notice, and it was nothing but great! We were blessed to get a hotel as nice as this. We were close to the beach (about a 10-15 minute drive), but not too close that our hotel room showed it. We have gone to a hotel on the beach before, but let’s say it’s not always good to be that close. Our room was great! Neat, clean, and so much more! There was a lazy river as well as a pool. A great place if you have kiddos.

Offers free WiFi, but the speed is worse than useless.
I had plenty of signal, but they completely lack speed. Reminded me of the ‘90s dialup.

The desk staff leaves a lot to be desired. I believe he's a supervisor of some sort, as he was training a new employee. No acknowledgment, even though I was standing right there and said good morning to him first. Did not acknowledge my husband as a diamond member (though we get that at other Hilton properties)
The room was great, and the breakfast offering looked good. The dining area was neat, clean, and tidy.

I was staying with a guest this past week and I gotta mention your front desk guy Andrew. Super nice and very helpful..always had something funny say. Kept us laughing. Rooms are fresh and clean..wonderful staff we will be back!!!!!

Terrible service
Morning Front desk, whatever her name was very Rude... The 4th time already has issues. Terrible, no one cares it's $200 room . Feel a motel for $40. And I'm a regular customer coming there almost every week for over a year now

This property was remodeled they did an excellent job with the remodel. Most of the employees are super nice however, I was there in two separate nights and in two different rooms. One of the rooms had black stuff all over the top. Don’t know what it was then the next night when I got there, the sink was full of toothpaste and hair. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel due to the way that they clean. I definitely would go to Pawleys Island from now on for all of my future stays. Yes they did offer me another room, but I was thoroughly exhausted and already unpacked when I noticed the sink I could not pack up and move again. It’s just strange that it happened in two different rooms within two days and they can’t blame it on construction because the construction is all done. Very dissatisfied with James. Everybody else is wonderful.
