“Rose Real Estate just sold our beach house in Oceanside Village. Christy, who handled our sale, did an awesome job. She is friendly, hard working, always upbeat and got the price we wanted. She deserves 5 stars. However, Rose Real Estate's 9% commission is outrageously high and is the reason for the 4 star overall rating. While Christy did a great job, Rose Real Estate did nothing extra that would warrant a commission of 9%. The house was in great shape and sold itself because of the condition and location of the house. But if you buy in Oceanside Village you are leasing their land and you have to live by their rules. So we just accepted the large fee as a price of doing business there. We had no other choice, but I would never live on leased land again.”
