Originally we were not going here. We wanted to buy a grill for my sun for Christmas. We went to Lowe's first. After looking at grills inside and out, we wanted an associate to help us. There was no one around. I went to the service desk and told them what I needed. They said they would call. I never heard anything. After being there for twenty minutes with no help, we decided to go to Home Depot. We also decided that we would never go to Lowe's again. Off to Home Depot. The difference was night and day. I went to the service desk and within a few minutes, an associate showed up for us. She was very helpful. This is the place to go. We purchased the grill for our son. Would I come back here? Of course! This is the place to go.

Very friendly and helpful staff! I would highly recommend this location. Managers were amazing as was Elizabeth in Appliances!!! Also, the really tall guy in doors was amazing (can't remember his name but you can't miss him. He's 6'7"). Also, Dave and Dale (I think) in the carpet area were amazing!!!

Waited 40 minutes for someone to come to plumbing and cut PVC for me before I just gave up and left. Save yourself a headache and just go to the Lowe's in Surfside they are so nice there

Absolutely wonderful. I was looking for a standing fan. Chess helped me on the phone. He was terrific. I went in to purchase the fan. Dotty D helped me at the front desk. She was knowledgeable kind and friendly. She took all the information from me that was needed for Home Depot to assemble my fan. Dotty was pleasant and professional. Later today Dotty called me to say my fan was ready. I had a wonderful experience. Thank you. Willie.

The store is located in a high traffic area and can be hard to get out from. As for shopping it's your typical big box hardware store. People for the most part are friendly but if you do run into someone unwilling to help you just go up front and ask someone else. I needed a piece of Masonite cut and the first guy I asked said he would lose his job if he cut it. No problem I just asked another guy and he cut it up in a couple of minutes.

Do not buy ANY appliances from these people. Once you get it delivered and it doesn't work properly, you have to deal with the vendor. Our vendor was Samsung. After being disconnected 4 times because they obviously didn't know how to schedule a service call, I was told I would have to wait 48 to 72 hours JUST TO SCHEDULE A SERVICE VISIT. That does not include the time it will take for the repairman to actually show up, i.e., more time waiting. When a manager was finally reached back at Home Depot, I was told we could come and pick out a new fridge and they would deliver a replacement....which could take up to a week. I will never purchase another appliance there and neither should you if you are smart.

DO NOT PURCHASE APPLIANCES FROM HOME DEPOT. In March I went to our local Home Depot to purchase a refrigerator. Of course nothing was in stock so I purchased a Samsung Refrigerator with a delivery date of May 5. This is for a vacation home 5 hours from home. We came down and two days before delivery we get a phone call stating refrigerator was not in stock yet so now delivery is May 27. Came back down for delivery. On the 25th I called Home Depot to verify it was still on schedule to be delivered. They affirmed it was. Next day my husband received a call from delivery people confirming we would be home today from 10-2 for delivery. He confirmed we would. Today with no refrigerator delivery by 2, I called Home Depot and they stated that you have a new delivery date of June 17. I'm not falling for that again. So called the local store and canceled order. I requested a refund check and not a refund to my Home Depot credit card because I had already paid the balance off. But were they willing to do that? Absolutely not. Refund to my credit card then I have to request a check. Worst customer ever.

I don't like their customer service. Delivery options online sucks. Make you pay for appliances but won't take out your old appliances. Make sure you get all the details before you pay. They hold your money, make you wait until they're ready to bring you the order then allow you to cancel. I can't believe how horrible home depot has gotten over the years. Guess I will try Lowes.

Went to this Home Depot on 3/15/21 around noon to buy wood screws for a deck project, complete with photo of the screws needed. Looked up and down the hardware aisle and didn't see what we needed, so my friend stopped a Home Depot employee at the end of the aisle. He was on his phone but stopped long enough to look at the photo and say, "They're down this aisle behind that black display" and then went back to his phone to say, "...and they stuck me here in Hardware....." Much too busy complaining to help us. We went back to where he'd gestured but still didn't find what we were looking for and he was still on his phone complaining so we decided to run up the road to Lowe's. Lowe's was happy to have our business, we found the correct screws, and made our purchase.

All staff wore masks. Floor folks were helpful but there's a real lack of friendly at the Customer Service cage. I did my best to cope with rude and abrupt behavior but she was grumpier than an old mad cat. Lowes was infinitely more accommodating. They'll be getting my money not Home Despot.
