I went in for an international driver's license. I had the pleasure of speaking with Mrs. Desiree M. Zupo a representative at the desk. Desiree was so nice and helpful I decided to join AAA and become a Plus / Plus RSV member. As a business owner these are the type of people you want representing your company. Great job Mrs. Zuppo.

We ran into the office to get a couple of maps for the Myrtle Beach area and North and South Carolina. The staff was very quick and accommodating. Plus, the lady that waited on us was counter was so friendly! Wishing her a belated Happy Birthday!!

I ran out of Diesel Fuel because my gauge malfunctioned. I got in touch with AAA and they sent a tow truck to me within 5 min. He had to tow me to the gas station. He then pumped my fuel for me and helped me get my F250 back up and running. With 25 minutes total I was back on the road. So in my opinion AAA is well worth the money. I am a widow and have no one to help during these situations. So I will always make sure I have AAA.

BEWARE…. I had AAA insurance with the Charlotte, NC office. But my experience with AAA was one of the WORST EXPERIENCES I ever had in my entire life. Let me elaborate, I had been with the AAA of the Carolinas for a year. When it was time for my full coverage renewal with AAA a big problem occurred. Ms. Jefferies a license agent sold me a liability policy instead of a full coverage policy. She deliberately did this and then lied about it stating I was calling to make changes to my liability policy and pay for my renewal. I filed a complaint with the SC Department of Insurance because you can not sell a consumer something they did not ask for without their permission. I will never do business with AAA of the Carolinas or its affiliates. I would not recommend AAA to anyone. I have canceled my coverage with AAA and found a much better insurance company to do business with.Lesson Learned.

Read this if you have AAA or if you are considering it!!!!!!!I have AAA and today Oct 16, 2023 I cut a tire and called them about 12:47 pm the first time and they told me someone would be out by 1:20 then I got an automated call that gave me another time and that went on about 6 more times until they told 3:30pm so I waited till 4 no one showed up or called so I called in and a lady answered and told me two different tow companies refused to come out and then she told me she would escalate it. But she did not have any one to send. So I ask her how long was it suppose to take…..She then got an attitude and told me it Was Luck Of The Draw if someone came or not. I could not believe she said that. I am going to request a copy of that conversation I bet they will not provide it. So if you are thinking of signing up with them make them send you something in writing stating they will assist if with in some kind of time frame because I ask this women that and she said they wound not answer that questions or give you any timeframe. IF it’s a lie she told it and the recording will prove it! She said each call was was Luck Of the Draw if no one was available you would not get any help!
