As a former veteran of the consumer electronics industry, I was a palled at the customer service I received. I dropped a iPad off a week ago to have the screen replaced. I hadn't heard from anybody so I checked the tracker online. It showed nothing had been done. I called customer service, which connected me to somebody in India or something like that which is usual these days, the gentleman told me the parts had been mailed out to the store. They still had my iPad. I thought well that should be in the tracker so I said let me call the customer service people again today and see if I get a different story today I was told it was sent to the Apple Store And they were going to fix it when I told him that's a whole different story than I got yesterday. Oh my mistake. It's at the Myrtle Beach store waiting for you to pick it up. I drove 60 mile round-trip to pick up my iPad. I get there and they say it's not here. I show them the Best Buy app and said look this is on the Best Buy app I was texting and they said it was there. Both the manager and the employees told me that this happens all the time that those people at the call center just make stuff up they don't even have access to the repair records Now you would think this would make customers pretty unhappy well I think Best Buy knows that because there's no way of getting a hold of a live person. The only one you can get or those call centers in India. No store manager, no district manager no regional office phone number only that call-center who again the store personnel told me don't have access to any records they just read off scripts I was lied to twice and drove 60 miles for nothing. I was actually gonna purchase a TV while I was there picking up my iPad I will never purchase anything at Best Buy again What those people tell customers that they get people yelling at the store personnel all the time Best Buy should be ashamed of themselves.

David from best buy geek squad Myrtle beach is a great example of a computer tech. He is very knowledgeable and set up my computer & printer. Every time he is here, he goes over & beyond to help fix the issue & explains every step of the way what he is doing. Always kind & fixes the problem.

By far the worse customer service I have experienced. Starting with Maria at noon with an attitude because she swore that I wasn't the pick up person for an order. Didn't get help, didn't look well enough to be working independently which should have prompted her to call the manager but no sends me away. Call the 1-800 #, they called and confirmed I was a pick up person, contacted the store to confirm so I go back. This time a guy with twists rang me up 2nd an hour later. Denied the pick up because he said the computer wouldn't let the transaction be released but what do you know I come again at 3pm and the heavy set girl with long hair could not only check me out but didn't even scan anything. So, what were the other 2 sales associates doing? It's Monday, mid day, I'm not understanding why there are so many grievances for a pick up order and why a manager wasn't called to help rectify the situation is beyond me. But at the very least spending money would warrant good customer service because that's the job they signed up for! Would give 0 stars if I could

NEVER AGAIN..will I buy anything from BestBuy... 15 day return policy. After that, my echo dot owl stopped working, sorry about your luck. You're stuck with the item...so I called Amazon. And they are sending me a new one free if charge, because it has a 2 year factory warranty..you would have thought BestBuy should have told me that. No customer service at all.

Prince sold me a really good computer today. I worked with him this morning and it was a disastrous circumstance. I had professional obligations to attend to in 24 hrs and was lucky enough to backup my original computer before it finally died. Nearly caught fire at my house a 10 yr old computer. I caught the very last day of a sale, which was sheer luck, but Prince ultimately directed me to an i9 processing speed laptop with 1 Terabyte of Storage geared towards professionals who handle heavy heavy programs like I do and do a little bit of gaming on the side. I don't think Best Buy does commission, but I hope Prince gets a raise. He didn't show me anything outside of my budget, and really showed me 'function over fashion.' On a personal note just my opinion, I noticed SOME flashy laptops were actually weaker than the one I was buying - and the difference was 1000 dollars. So this made me trust Prince even more because im not naiive to the terminology or lingo spoken about tech. He steered me towards the right choice, which was away from gimmicks or flashy items and go for strength and structure. Honestly I don't need to spend another thousand dollars on something flashy if I'm the only person who sees the laptop. Original price was 1400, on sale I got it 999 for a very powerful laptop.

Purchased an iPhone with unlimited screen replacement. Had it replaced and in 2 days it was broke again !! Went back waited 1/2 hour to see someone , only to be told I could buy one but they were out of the free ones !!!
