Upon entering the room, I was immediately met with a strong, moldy odor that persisted throughout the stay. In addition, I noticed multiple cleanliness issues that raised serious health and hygiene concerns, including:
• Visible dirt and grime on the headboards
• Floors that appeared unclean and sticky to the touch
• Walls that were literally sweating, giving the room a damp and musty atmosphere
• An overall lack of proper ventilation and air circulation
These conditions made the stay extremely uncomfortable and left me concerned about potential health risks.

Great. Close to restaurants and amusements. Less than a 20-minute drive to the beach.

I was conned by all these good reviews because there is no way they stayed at this same hotel. Our room had a very strong odor of chlorine upon entering. The front desk said they did not have another room to change us to. The room was humid and everything had moisture on it.Everything in the room was rusted. The room was not clean and the floors were slippery from whatever they attempted to clean the floors with.. the tub did not drain when showering. There were so many things wrong with this room. I could go on.

I haven't stayed at Best Western in two decades. This one didnt disappoint. I called the night before and requested an early check in as my flight came in by 12 pm. Check in was at 4. I was told that it was a possibility for an early check in but it wasn't guaranteed. I was able to check in before 2 pm without no difficulty. The room was spacious n comfy. The bathroom was huge. Everything was clean. Breakfast was a 10 with numerous options of food. What I loved was the coffee machine..... the numerous choices it had was amazing. My mom n I were very impressed. The hotel was accessible to all the close attractions. The staff was friendly n helpful. I'm glad I chose this location. If I'm ever in the area again, I would definitely stay here :)

We are locals here at Myrtle Beach and sometimes stay at Best Western Plus with our children for a 'staycation' or if we are having home repairs being done. We love it there because of Miss Lisa-a very special employee who works in housekeeping and makes us feel like we are her family. She is absolutely wonderful, and we look forward to seeing her. Miss Melissa is also so wonderful as well. She always makes sure we get a good breakfast and asks about our day, and we end up missing her by the time we leave. Thank you for making us feel at home!

I had the pleasure of staying here twice, first time on the third floor... everything was absolutely pristine. It was SOOO nice I decided to go back in the same weekend by the way.
Got the room on 2nd floor and took a shower and was headed for the crisp sheets after a long hot day and as I pulled back the linen the sheets had not been changed.
A huge stain greeted me as disgust flooded my core. I'm not opposed to semen if I helped created it but I don't want to pay to lay in someone else's fluids. Not at $157.00 a night.
Well, they moved me to another room...but that one was just a tad bit better ?.
It's sad we patronize businesses with our hard earned money and be expected to accept what they give us.
Oh Yeah, whomever cleaned Room 234 is absolutely Soo nasty, they make slack want to ? puke. Have some integrity about your job.
Nearby activities: There was a cute little race way next door for children.
Walkability: Other restaurants were in walking distance.
Food & drinks: Breakfast was powdered eggs and pre-cooked bacon. Gotta be starving to do it twice.

It has a very good one, but the cleanliness of the bathroom is very poor, the shower, the toilet and the bathroom mirror are all dirty, the bathroom air duct has mold inside and breathing that in is harmful. Few towels are not enough, you have to go to the reception to ask for extras or to complement the number of people for which the room was rented.

Upon check-in the front desk person was great let me say that. She also let us know that they do not clean rooms except for when you requested but if you need things you need to come down and get them yourself. They should post that on their website because I promise you a lot of people will not want to come there. Upon going into our room , The first thing I noticed was the sofa. It looked like it needed to be steamed cleaned, so I had to go back downstairs to get sheets because I wanted to cover it. There was no way I was going to sit on that sofa. Secondly, I noticed that the floor was dirty. It felt like you were walking on some kind of dirt. I spilled water on the floor and upon wiping it up with a paper towel. That paper towel was black. Which tells me that they do not mop. I am usually prepared for everything so I have a mini swifter, which at least got crumbs, dirt, sand whatever it was I was able to get it off the floor.. The second thing that I didn’t like was their lack of service. Friday I asked for the room to be refreshed at 10 AM, no one showed up. I had to go down that same day at about 7 PM to get the things to refresh the room. Someone finally shows up the next day and I don’t wanna be bothered because I had already refreshed the room myself. What’s the point of staying at a hotel. If I feel like I’m working there. Some of the people that had rooms there seemed questionable. The food was bland. The wifi was the worst I have ever seen. I will never stay at that location again. I would not recommend it. It was a last-minute trip for me and so if I had planned better and ahead of time, I would’ve been at a better location. The price drove me there because it was a last-minute trip I will never do that again. They really need to deep clean the rooms things are outdated and you can tell that the staff is not cleaning that place properly. The pool is microsize.
Food & drinks: Many restaurants and stores nearby

The hotel is and it's rooms are decorated nicely and the price was reasonable for the length of time we were there. The rooms are decently sized , and although we had several issues initially with ours we were able to move pretty easily. The new room was much better but the water pressure was an issue. It was fine when you run the tub but next to non existent when you turned the shower on. That made me wonder if they had some kind of a limiter on it , or if the shower head was that blocked with sediment. We just dealt with it but it was very frustrating. The breakfast is amazing and the lady who takes care of it and the breakfast area was fantastic. I truly enjoyed coming down and seeing what was getting served every morning and having pleasant casual talk with her and the other guests. The breakfast menu changed daily which I really appreciated because we were there for almost a week and things didn't get boring. It was all tasty good quality food. Honestly it was the most pleasant breakfast set up I have ever experienced at a hotel. I think they should consider putting a sign on their coffee machine saying that water will come out first, I don't drink coffee so it didn't affect me but I saw so many people either walk away thinking it was empty or go bother the breakfast lady thinking it was broken when really it was perfectly fine. It would help her to not have to keep repeating herself and also stop people walking away disappointed and wasting cups and coffee. Also, there's something up with the finish on the dining tables. They're clean and don't feel sticky but once you set a warm plate on them it becomes very tacky underneath and by the time you finish you have to fight the table for your plate and it's impossible to not leave bits of it behind on the tabletop. They should have them refinished or consider vinyl table tops as we weren't the only guests who struggled with it. We did try and explain to the others who voiced issues that the table wasn't dirty like they suspected. They were kept very clean. There's just something up with the finish on them. They have a waffle maker like most hotels but also have a toppings area of things to add to them and I appreciated that. There's a beautiful back deck at the end of the hotel lot, and the view is wonderful. However their pool is far too small for how many guests they have, I wasn't able to swim and could see even from the deck that there were pieces of unidentifiable stuff in there. I think if they're going to have a pool they should have someone out there periodically to clean it through the day especially when it's so small and has to hold so many people.
Over all I will say- it was a satisfactory hotel to stay at. Most the staff was at least adequately polite and although a couple were less so, a few were beyond so it mostly evened out. I wouldn't mind staying again but I wish I had known the things I mentioned ahead of time. Hopefully the fixable ones are taken care of soon but just keep in mind that they may still exist before booking.
Rooms: Their rooms are nicely decorated and the beds are comfortable. We did have several issues in our first room but they quickly moved us.
Nearby activities: The hotel was within 25 minutes of most of the attractions we wanted to visit as well as a couple of the beaches. I definitely recommend both the dolphin tours and food that Hurricane Juels offers , and that you visit Wonder Works regardless of the ages of you or your children. I am confident you would enjoy your time there no matter what. We also really liked some of the entertainment at Broadway, and the ice cream from Melt ( Melt ice cream shop further in town which is not to be confused with Melt , the restaurant at Broadway) was delicious and priced well. Kilwins at Broadway wasn't quite as good and was nearly double the price, so if you're wanting one or the other go with Melt. We really enjoyed Captain Hook's Adventure Golf.

Very clean, Excellent management, Everything up to date, Complementary breakfast, Warm and clean outdoor pool with good seating, Friendly front desk. Near a bunch of food places as well that are easily accessible and walking distance. This is also very safe area, Definitely recommend for travelers to Myrtle Beach if you do not want to stay beachfront.
