I recently purchased a Camaro from Micheal Johnson as my BMW had reached the end of its road. I highly recommend working with Michael if you’re in need of a new car. He was not pushy and made me feel comfortable through the entire process. He took his time and let me test drive a couple vehicles before I made my decision. The knowledge he possessed about the car market and was able to answer any question I had with honesty and professionalism. Micheal would be the reason for me to continue bringing my business to this location.

Unfortunately during my service on Saturday 7/20 during the car wash somehow my front BMW license plate was bent up badly. Service team tried to bend it back, but still is very noticeable. Service department did call and text me back but now will not answer to replace the damage caused. Unfortunate practices as we had a good experience till this issue

Took a one way flight to here to buy a bmw and placed a cashiers check as a down payment. They tried to hide the down payment and pocket the cash and then just said sorry it was an accounting error. DO NOT TRUST THEM.

Took my vehicle to BMW of Myrtle Beach for tires, oil change, and brakes. Later found out they never did the oil change. They just reset the warning light
2 months later the passenger rear tire blew out doing damage to the wheel well and fender. Set up an appointment to replace the tire on Tuesday 5/28 giving BMW all the tire information to order the tire and saying I would bring them the rim to replace the tire and bring the car in after so I wouldn't have to have it towed. Was told that wasn't acceptable, that they need the whole car. Had the car towed to BMW prior to the appointment time of 11:00 am 5/30/24. I called Shane Tabit around 4:00 to ask about my car and was informed the tire had to be ordered. On Friday 5/31/24 I was told by Shane Tabit that the tire had not arrived yet. On Saturday 6/1/24 I was told the tire arrived late Friday and the service department would get it taken care of right away. I received my email invoice with the inspection video attached. The video was time stamped 4:06 5/31/24 with the work completed but they made me wait until noon on Saturday to pick up my car acting like it wasn't completed Friday.
They charged me $82 to mount the tire they had to replace because it was defective and I was told I was responsible for the tow. I asked Shane Tabit what they were doing about the damage to the wheel well and he told me "it will just buff out" and they're not responsible for the damage the defective tire did.
I get in my car. The warning lights on for low tire pressure. I go back to Shane Tabit to have him check it. He had to get a mechanic to come reset the system.
On 7/28 as I was driving in North Carolina on vacation. The passenger rear brake pad broke. I made an appointment again to BMW of Myrtle Beach for 8/8. Was told they'd replace the pad & rotor. Then I get a call from Chris Chauko the service manager that they won't give me the replacement unless I have them replace the caliper that is now damaged due to the brake pad breaking. I had already spoke with Kayla about me not wanting BMW of Myrtle Beach even working on my car in the 1st place but since they did the work already, they'd be the ones replacing the brakes. So I told Chris Chauko I'd be in to pick up my car.
Chris Chauko refused to fix the brakes or give me the replacement pads and rotor for me to take them to EruoPro to complete the job BMW failed at. Then Chris Chauko refused to give me my keys to my car. I had to call The Horry County Police department for them to send out an officer. With the offer there I gave Chris Chauko two options, give me my keys or I file a stolen vehicle report.

Had an oil change 7/30. Car was running strange afterwards. Took it back a day and a half later only to find the oil cap wasn’t put on tight. Engine had to be cleaned. Who doesn’t put an oil cap on right? Sadly this dealer is the closest BMW dealer to me. I had the pleasure of working with Bobby Rahal in Pittsburgh who provided courteous and professional service.
I had issues with a prior BMW vehicle and Myrtle Beach BMW continuously blew off off my concerns and refused to provide shuttle service or a rental car. I had to drive 45 minutes to the dealer and leave my car overnight multiple times and had to have someone follow me each time to bring me home. And then take me back to pick up the car, of course. It took them 4-5 visits to diagnose the problem. Thankfully corporate BMW recognized this was an issue and compensated me appropriately for my time. Their excuse for lack of parts, service, and loaner cars was Covid (this was mid 2021). I thought this car would be a better experience. I like BMW’s, I just wish I could receive competent service close to home.

I’m not usually compelled to leave reviews but I was so impressed with the great customer service and the way I was treated by Tom Hamilton, Jason Grimm, and Tim Rebe that I had to leave this review to let people know how amazing they were. They got me a great interest rate on a 2024 BMW. The price they gave me was unbeatable. But most importantly, they treated you like family. Leaving there I felt that they truly cared, treated you with kindness, respect, and were very transparent. Even tho I live in Charleston, if I ever get another BMW again I will be coming back to Myrtle Beach just to see them and give them my business. I can’t say enough nice things about how impressive they were. Thank you gentleman for such a great experience. I love the car as well! Best regards.

I might not know every salesman at this dealership but I can confidently say that mr Tom Hamilton is one of the best peopl that I have ever met. Even though I was only 19 yrs old, Mr Hamilton still treated with respect and given 10/10 customer service. I don’t really feel comfortable talking to random people but he made me feel as comfortable when talking to him as I have been knowing him for so long already. This isn’t a biased review, Just wanting to say my honest thought bc he truly deserves to be known like that.
