This was my 1st time ever renting from Budget. The pick up process was easy and fast. I noticed the tire light was on in the vehicle I received. They switched out my rental fast and without any issue. They checked with me to see where I was going and because of the distance, made sure I had a gas friendly vehicle. The customer service agent was knowledgeable and very friendly. The return process was fast and painless. Didn’t have to do anything but turn in the keys. Will definitely be a return customer.

I need to file a complaint on the Myrtle beach location. I reserved a car through Expedia to pick up today at 1pm. My father had a heart attack at 1:30 am and I am trying to get home to my family. After delayed flights I finally get there at 3:10pm to someone who claims her name was Mary. When I walked up she was on her cell phone and then refused to let me rent a car or speak with her manager. I did not have a physical drivers license on me as I left in a panic when I got the call. I did however have a government issued military ID and a photo of my drivers licenses. She refused to accept either even after calling budget customer service and they said a military ID would suffice. I tried explaining the situation to her and she rolled her eyes, refused to respond to me, and laughed when I told her about my father. She was extremely disrespectful and I do not appreciate it. The manager at this location was Mik Weaver (supposedly). She also refused to cancel my reservation and provide me with a receipt. I had to call back to customer service and do so.With this being said I will never rent from budget again and I will tell everyone I come in contact with about my experience. Mary should be ashamed of herself the way she laughed when I said my father had a heart attack. And she 100% deserved everything I said to her. I would give zero stars if Google allowed me.

Airport rental car spots are not very sexy lol. Lady at the desk was very prompt and nice. No line. Got me a loaded mini van for the sub compact rate as they have 2 many. Quick easy drop-off. Would use them again.

Lady at the front wasn’t helpful at all and didn’t seem to care about anything. They run your credit before giving your rental, and even though I have a credit score of almost 800, it didn’t “pass.” Feeling stranded and confused I explained there must be a mistake and asked if there’s anything else we could do, she said no and shrugged her shoulders.I went to one of the neighboring rentals there, received and returned a nicer car with absolutely 0 issues. Very dumb on Budgets part, they lost good business considering I travel to the Carolina’s a lot.

Alamo online reservation are not reliable arrived at Myrtle Beach Airport on November 24 to pick up my vehicle which I reserved and confirmed online. However when I arrived to pick up rental I was told "No vehicle available" I was informed that Corporate reservations does not verify whether there are actual availability of rental cars so reservations are bogus!! Of course it disappointing to find no vehicles were available.. I filed a complaint with Customer Support but no response from them to provide for an alternate solution to my problem.

This is absolutely the best rental car company ever.Ms. Myra, Ms. Tammy and Shannon are the absolute best. They are considerate and friendly. I always feel welcome and will forever rent vehicles from Avis Budget.

We received our car from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina airport. We received a 2023 Charger for our rental car. In very nice condition and very clean. When we received it the people were very nice and upon returning the treated us a very nice. I would highly suggest using Budget rental.

Great car, clean, very good prices with free upgrade to 2 tall customers who enjoyed more leg room. Great pick up in 2023 Dodge Charger. Husband had gun with it. Well maintained.

Incompetence runs wild in this organization. There is no accountability. The level and spread of dishonesty is astounding. I had called to change a reservation. I was told the change was made and the first reservation canceled and refunded. It never happened. I have called six times so far and nothing has changed. Save yourself some time and aggravation and avoid Budget.

There is usually always a long line at the Myrtle Beach Airport Budget Car Rental counter. However, Myra, who has taken care of me on a few occasions, always makes me feel like I'm the most important customer of the day! She's always is pleasant and kind. Without her, the experience would not be as favorable.

Refused to honor our reservation back to NY. Wife and family stranded, and have to go back to teach kids in school tomorrow. No empathy whatsoever

The good: Fast break line was short, they had the type of car I reserved and the gas was full.The bad: Brand new car (2023 under 7k miles) already damaged on the front end significantly, attendant said they were aware of the damage. After declining the fuel service, and returning the vehicle full of gasoline I am still being charged almost $20 for fuel service I did not need, or ask for. I realize $20 isn't much money but the principle of trying to extort an extra fee out of paying customers gets on my nerves.I know budget isn't high end rental cars, generally Avis reject vehicles however you publish a price, we agree to pay the published price and then after I'm already in a different state you try and say I owe more money? Not going to happen Budget!

This was a horrible experience at Charlotte Airport. I had a fastbreak reservation but then couldn't find it and was sent to regular check out. I was switched into three cars and when I left counter I had to wait in line for another 25min to find out they did not have the car. Finally I received a car it was black my paperwork said white. The car had a white sticky substance on the driver side door and the attendant said that's all they had. The paperwork didn't match the car, the miles were incorrect as well as the license plate. I drove it 4hrs to my destination and went to a different Budget in Myrtle beach and they corrected the situation. Thank God I didn't get pulled over, it would have looked like I had stolen the vehicle. I hope to avoid Charlotte budget in the future.

Check in was easy having preregistered online. All I had to do was show my ID and sign. My car was great. Had to wait for an infant seat, but once we got it, it was perfect for our travels. Checking back in was easy.
