I started going to CKO Myrtle Beach a month ago. I took Muay Thai /Fitness classes before moving here and was looking for something similar. A friend mentioned this place and it was a perfect fit. Kickboxing fitness classes very similar to what I was used to. Its a mixture of cardio, kickboxing, core work, and even some yoga for stretching. That was what i had before and loved it. Its tough getting back into the swing of things after being away from it so long. The instructors have all been encouraging and supportive. I'm seeing major results already. I'm able to push harder each class. My core is getting stronger. I'm feeling all around better. I'm also seeing results in my waist line. The cost is also a lot better than other places I checked out. I look forward to classes and love seeing the results of the hard work. Cannot recommend them enough.

If you're looking to get in shape quickly, this place to have you shedding the pounds in a matter of weeks. Experienced trainers will teach you the basics and you can workout at your own pace. The added bonus is that you will learn to defend yourself in the process. The studio is not to strong on air conditioning, but then you're there to workout and sweat a little, so be prepared to be challenged in the humidity department. Great concept for learning how to fight without actually engaging an opponent.

Fantastic coaches and a great little gym. Demonte & Skyler are the best. It's worth every penny! I was able to go down two pant sizes in only two months! I highly recommend them, no matter your age, gender, or physical condition. There are all ages and the staff is welcoming. The workouts are unique every day. Invest in yourself. Go today!

Personal training sessions are awesome! I've been going 3 times a week, 30- 45 minutes, consistently since January 2022 (along with dieting) and I'm down 2 sizes and lost almost 18 inches overall. Great workout both physically and mentally and I feel great. It's helped me better manage my anxiety and improved my mental focus.All of the trainers are top tier- especially Tamarin, Demonte and Damian.

CKO Kickboxing was a great workout. The instructor was high energy and kept the class engaged. There was a mix of punching, kicking, cardio, and body weight drills. Modifications were available for different skills levels. It was a fun workout for anyone.

This place is phenomenal! I wanted to sign up for some classes while on vacation and the triple play package was perfect. I had the best experience here! It’s such a great value! I hadn’t done kickboxing in a long time but I always loved it so I thought it would be fun. The instructors, Damien, and Tamarin are EXCELLENT! They teach proper technique yet offer modifications as needed for any level. It’s a comfortable, legitimate boxing environment where you can be yourself. The people are genuine, friendly, and helpful. I just can’t say enough about it! I looked forward to every class and while the workouts left me feeling a little sore the next day, I was amazed at how quickly I gained strength in my legs and hip area. In fact, I had this nagging low back pain stemming from an injury a year ago that has mysteriously disappeared. I’m already looking for a CKO in my area so I can continue with the training. CKO is the best gym and place to kickbox in the Grand Strand. The owner and trainers are absolutely phenomenal. Each class and trainer is different than the next. I typically have my mind wonder or get bored easily when working out. This is no longer the case thanks to CKO.There is also a true family comradery that I absolutely love.If you're debating on whether to give it a try, do it! They'll even let you do your first trial class for free. You'll get addicted!

I didn't intend to become a member of CKO. I 've been doing many other physical activities and hadn't imagined that will trade those to cko classes. I like everything about training: teachers, intensity levels, music and even hot summer training spaces which is actually very beneficial for us.Thank you for my experience dear trainers !

I moved to SC from NY during the lockdown and I’ve missed working out at a CKO sooo much!! I absolutely love the work out and the staff is so nice and give a great work out! This is a great place to work out for all fitness levels; if you’re just starting your fitness journey vs if you have more experience it doesn’t matter! Take it at your own pace! If you wanna work out and see results and feel good and just relieve some stress then I definitely recommend coming here!

Started My Membership A Few Months Ago! All Staff is super friendly and helpful. Great for beginners! Highly recommend giving it a shot... expect to sweat

Great workout! We tried a class and found it to be very challenging. If this does not get your heart rate up, I don't know what will! :) The instructor was friendly and helpful and I did not feel intimidated at all! People should be aware that the GPS tag is incorrect - we went to the wrong location first before finding the correct building. The center is in a gym center building down the hall so it was a little tricky to find the first time. The one issue that we had (being from up North our gyms are always AC'd) but this location does not have AC so it was a little warm for us but that could just be because we are not used to the heat (yet)EIther way, I would highly recommend this gym. Great workout and great people!

I am looking for a place to work out, get back in shape, get strong & confident again.I talked on the phone to Tamarin, who was very informative, and super nice, and I am going to take advantage of the Free class, and hopefully, sign up.

I joined CKO in May with their 3 pass class, being a beginner at kickboxing it is a tough workout the first few days but ultimately a great one! I remember clocking at 1200 calories one session and regularly burning 800-1000 calories. In total I lost 28 pounds since I started in May. Facility is a bit warm but I think it adds to the burn, I highly recommend this gym to kickstart your workout goals!
